'' I wonder... ''

My mouth slowly opened and I sunk my teeth in to the choco pie.

'' What are you doing?! ''

The early morning sun was shinning through the windows of the convenience store and it blinded my vision when I slowly raised my head. I was squatted between two shelves and there was a choco pie in my hands. The person standing in front of me was no one else than the teacher Byun Baekhyun. His face was deathly serious and he seemed even more annoyed when he saw me raise my finger to my lips and signal him to be quiet. '' I'm eating. Do you want half? ''

'' Why are you eating? '' he carefully asked and continued staring at me with his mouth slightly opened in disbelief. 

I tilted my head to the side in confusion and asked: '' Did you already have breakfast, sensei? I was told to go and find myself something to eat. ''

I didn't feel hungry or thirsty, but doctor was kind enough to program my brain so that I could still taste sweet things.

'' No, I meant why are you eating in the middle of the store! '' His gaze travelled over the empty packets of choco pies that I left behind. He took a deep breath, took off his glasses and used his other hand to massage his temples. It was a move that I saw him do a lot, but I didn't quite understand what was the meaning behind it. '' I can't believe it! I thought you could function properly even if you are unsupervised, but I guess that I was wrong. Who decided that it was a good idea to let you off on your own, you piece of junk? ''

Did he just call me a piece of junk?

I pursed my lips and I slowly raised my hand to tap my forehead. '' Learning mode. Collecting information as I go. Data input by hand is too difficult and takes too much time. ''

The sound of my voice made Baekhyun cringe and I was about to bite in my choco pie once again, when he grabbed my sleeve and pulled me on my feet. He threw a handkerchief in my face, it landed on top of my head and I didn't know what to do with it. I lifted it off my eyes to gaze towards him in question and he let out a defeated sigh. He was mumbling something to himself when he took the handkerchief in his hands again and grabbed my chin. His gaze was narrowed and he used the handkerchief to wipe the chocolate and crumbs that were covering my chin. '' How about you collect information on how to eat a choco pie properly for starters? Or was that what you were trying to do? Do you even have the cash to pay for the snacks that you ate? ''
