Chapter 11

"Maria are you okay?" Mitch asks me, "who is he?" I don't answer. I keep staring at my past.

"Pablo?! What are you doing here?" He walks up a little closer to us, I release Mitch's arm but he still keeps closes to me, protectively.

"I still live here." He said pointing to the house I share so many awful memories with.

"Oh." Is all I reply starting to feel uncomfortable. "I'm Mitch. " Mitch introduced him self extending his hand to shake Pablo's.

"Pablo." He shakes Mitch's hand. "So are you and Maria going out or something?" Pablo asked curiously.

"Noooo. She's amazing and everything but I have a daughter and she's like a sister to me." Mitch explained.

"Ooh. Your Mitch Lucker right? Suicide Silence?" Mitch nodded proudly, "you have incredible music."

"Thanks man."

"So Maria are you single?" Pablo asked even more curious then before.

"Umm no I'm not. I'm actually dating Vic now." I say smiling once I think about Vic.

"Really congrats. I kinda saw that coming.. So umm nice seeing you again Maria, we should catch up some time. Mitch a pleasure to meet you have a nice afternoon." Pablo left and Mitch looked at me weird.

"Who was he?"

"My ex his the reason I lost my memory, also the reason why I started to do drugs and smoke again in high school."

"Oh. I didn't know that was him you never told me his name. Im sorry if that brought back bad memories."

"No it's okay let just go back." He nodded and we walked back to the Fuentes house hold.

For the rest of the night we had some fun then went back to my place. Mitch was still with us and left around 11 when Kenna was getting sleepy. The guys slept over and I'm starting to think they should move in with us.

~~~ 2 Days later~~~

"Maria?" I look up from my phone, I smile at the perfection of my boyfriend. "What's wrong you haven't really talked since we got back." He was worried he knew something was up.

"I saw Pablo when me and Mitch went for a walk." His eyes became narrow he was angry now.

"Did he do something to you? What happen?"

"No he seemed like he changed, he asked me if I was single then he said that we should catch up sometime."

"I swear if I see him I will beat the shit out of him." I could tell Vic was thinking back to when I landed in the hospital, that moment when Pablo slapped me, and he tore us apart for a bit.

"Vic I kinda do wanna go catch up with him. If its okay with you of course." Vic's eyes soften.

"It's okay you just have to have your phone with you and answer our phone calls when ever we call." I nodded and went to Facebook to look for Pablo. When I found him I quickly added him as a friend and he accepted. About an hour later we agreed to meet up at the local park.

"Jaime what time is it?" I ask, while staring at Jaime that has not looked up from his phone.

"Umm 12 why? " he replied his eyes still glued to his phone.

"I need to go meet up with Pablo now." I said, he nodded and I went to go put on my shoes. I got my skateboard and gave Vic a kiss before I left.

I was skated to the park, I quickly notice Pablo on a table by him self. "Hey." He said while waving at me once he saw me.
