Chapter 27

I wake up and I look around, I was in the living room and I had my head on Vic's shoulder. I touch my belly, "I'm still pregnant?" I whisper with the biggest smile ever. It was all a dream.

Vic opened his eyes and looked at me, "what did you dream of?" He asked curious, I left my head off of his shoulder.. "You looked peaceful but you made a lot of noises." He says.

"I dreamt I lost our baby I had a miscarriage. I fell into a deep depression and I didn't even want to go to warped." I whisper to him.

"Wow what a dream." He whispers, "I promise I will try my best to keep you and our baby safe." He kisses my lips and I smile breaking the kiss. Me and Vic just smile at each other, I get up and walk towards the kitchen. When I get up I see a white piece of paper on the ground I bend down to pick it up.

"Maria don't bend down ill get it for you." Tony says.

"Thanks tone but I can still pick things up." I say and smile at him. I look at the paper and it said 'to: Maria'. I open it up and I read it,
'Hey Maria, I don't know if you remember me, James. You haven't been talking to me and I've tried to look for you but your never home. School is crap I can't take it no more, I tried talking but they made fun of me. They tease me because of the picture of you and me in my binder that a girl so beautiful would never talk to me or even notice me. They tease me because of the way I dress and the way I am. I can't take it no more, I guess this is my goodbye to you. I hope I don't ruin your day or anything, just take care cause I'm going to be in a better place with hopeful no harm.

Vic wrapped his arms around my waste and move him away. "I'll be back I need to stop him." I whisper putting on my shoes and leaving the letter behind. I grab my keys and hurry up to James house.

Once I arrive I knock on the houses door as hard as I could, "what do you want so early?" A bitchy lady around her late 30's asks.

"Where's James?" I ask.

"That piece of shit, in his room like aways." I move the lady out of the way and go look for James in his room I open the door and his on the ground picking some things up.

"James no!" I yell once I see he was picking up pills. I go to him and down on the ground with him and I hug him. I hug and he cries on to my shoulder. I could feel my phone vibrate I bet it's Vic, but I needed to help James right now.

"Why? Why don't you just let me do this?" James asked me.

"Because your to important for me I care about you. I know it's been months we haven't talked but your special to me James. I know how it feels to be in your position it's awful but I know now that it gets better." I tell him whipping away my tears and his. He looks down at me and notices my belly.

"You're pregnant?" He asked confused. I nodded my head, "how many months are you?"

"Almost 6 months." I tell him. He kept staring a me. My phone vibrates again and I answer it, Vic. "Hey-" he cuts me off, "where are you why did you leave?? Are you okay?"

"Vic relax, I'm fine and our baby is fine. I had to help out my friend, James." I explain to him.

"The letter you left on the table was a suicide letter?" He asked, now really concerned.

"Yes. Ill go home in a bit because your child is getting hungry." I say and we say bye and hang up. "Okay James come on your spending the day with me." I tell him and try to get up which was harder then I remember. James gets up and comes right behind me. His mom wasn't there so we jus left, he got in the car and we left back to my house.

When I park the car I get out and he also slowly gets out with me. I open the door and he follows even slower. I go to the living room where everyone is at and I introduce everyone. Vic walks out to the kitchen and gives me a sandwich and a kiss on the cheek and wraps his hands around my belly.
