LATER THAT NIGHT  AT THE POOL- 3rd Person POV:

Marinette and Alya were the first ones at the pool.  Both were wearing swimsuits that Marinette had made them. Alya's was an orange two piece, and Mari's was similar, but pink. Soon more of their friends showed up, including Adrian and Nino, much to Mari's and Alya's delights. Everyone had shown up early and were mingling about, chatting and and catching up about their summers. Ivan and Mylene were sharing a pizza, Alix and Kim were showing off on the diving board with Max, Chloe was sitting on a lounge chair with Sabrina fanning her with a palm leaf, Nathaniel was drawing, Adrien and Nino were standing by the edge of the pool talking, and Juleka and Rose were playing with a beachball. 

Mari's POV:

"Hey Mari? Wanna play a game?"

"Hmm...maybe. What game?" Marinette said, caution edging her voice. She didn't trust Alya's evil smirk.

"How about What Are The Odds?"

"Eh..." Mari said, sticking her tongue out.

"Please Mari? It's this or Truth or Dare!"

"Fine!! What Are The Odds, you go first."  "I hate truth or dare!!! She won't let me just pick truth and then I have to do things that are SUPER embarrassing.....like when she made me post a photo of myself with a Chat Noir cutout on Instagram" Marinette thought to herself.

Alya suddenly  started smiling, the mischievous grin, causing Mari  to question her choice.

"Well get on with this Alya. Do your worst."

"Alright, since you asked. Marinette Dupin-Cheng, what are the odds you would dunk Adrian in the pool, seeing as he does stand on the edge of the pool. 3-2-1...7!!""

"3!!" Mari said at the same time as Alya hollard 7. 

"Dang it!" Mari said with showing sadness on her face, but secretly feeling delight at the thought of teasing Adrian again.

Marinette ran over to where Adrian stood talking to Nino.

"Hey Adrian!" Mari said, tapping him on his shoulder with her  slender fingers.

"Yah?" 

"Sorry about this!" She said about to push him in. What she hadn't realized was that Adrian and Nino overhearing the exchange, had formed a plan. As Mari reached out to push Adrian in, he grabbed her by the arms and pulled her in with him.

"Agh!! Adrian I can't swim!!" Marinette said, splurting out water.

"Oh my gosh Mari!! I'm so sorry!!!!" Adrian swam over to her in just a couple strokes, but as he neared her, she pushed him under the water. 

"What was that for?!?" Adrian said popping up out of the water next to his dear friend.

"Oh, no apparent reason. Just had an opportunity and decided to seize it!!"

"Well whatever shall I do with you?" Adrian said lunging forward. He caught Marinette in his hands pulling her under the water with him. So this continued until the sun had gone down enough and when the movie started Adrian and Mari were there in the water together enjoying the classics from their childhood. Alya and Nino sat always off together watching as their plan unwound perfectly.
