At the pool after the movie; MARI'S POV:
"Hey Alya!! Guess what!" Marinette said excitedly coming out of the locker rooms at the pool. She had just finished getting dressed in her ladybug spotted sweats.(refer to pic. above)
"What girl?" Alya had been sitting talking to Nino. Adrian still wasn't out of the boys changing room yet.
"I better go check on him." Nino said getting up and leaving.
"You actually might wanna hear this Nino. It involves food."
"Okay...Adrian can wait."
"My mom and dad sent me a text. They said we can stop by the bakery and pick up any of the food left over from the day as long as we quickly make the stuff for tomorrow."
"Sweet! Can I join you?" Adrian said walking to his friend, a truly happy smile on his face.
"Of course!!" Marinette couldn't hide the smile from her face.
"And you can give us those gifts you made girl!!"
"Gifts...right..." Marinette had temporarily been drowning in Adrian's green eyes, while simultaneously being blinded by his absolutely perfect smile.
"uh....Marinette?" Is there something on my face?"
"nah..." Marinette drawing out her words, "Your face is absolutely Purrrrr-fect."
"Um....thanks?"
"Dude, you really need to stop staring at my bro." Nino said. He walk over and straightened Marinette's slowly slumping shoulders. She fell forward in the process, her forehead resting on Nino's shoulder. That's when the heard a soft snore coming from her. "Uh...dudes...a little help would be nice."
"Don't worry Nino, I got this." Alya pulled out a bag of chocolate chips and a Mountain Dew Voltage. She opened the bag of chocolate chips and after popping a few in her mouth, wafted the bag near Marinette's face, instantly waking her up.
"Drink" Alya didn't just hand the Voltage to Mari, she practically poured it down her throat. It didn't take long for the caffeine to kick in.
"Umm...Marinette? Are you ok?" Adrian gave her a small worried smile.
"Well Duh!! Why would't I be?!?! Well we better get going or else I won't share the food!! OR THE KITTENS!!!!!" Marinate had gone from slowly falling asleep while talking to talking like she was on fast-forward mode. Not only that, after she finished talking, she took off down the street running to the bakery.
"WAIT? THERE ARE KITTENS?" Nino and Alya yelled in unison. Needless to say, they took off after Marinette leaving Adrian in the dust.
"Why must she always make me run for my food!" Adrian groaned as he took off after them. The pain of Marinette stealing his croissant still fresh.
Due to the caffeine rush, plus her stamina being built up from being ladybug, Marinette was able to run home, unlock the bakery, boil some water for hot coco, and throw the cookies into a warm oven for a few minutes to warm them back up. She had just pulled them out when everyone else showed up. After locking the bakery doors back up, they all headed upstairs to enjoy the food, warm little kittens and some movies or video games. They all sat around snacking and playing with the kittens in Marinetes family room while playing Ultra-Mega Strike III.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom. Be right back" Adrian hopped up and left to the bathroom. He had been gone a few minutes when Marinette heard a door open from the bakery below.
"Guys....I think someones at the bakery door." Marinette put down her controller and headed towards her front door to go check downstairs, everyone following close behind. What they saw gave them a shock. There, sitting on the counter eating a croissant, was Chat Noir.
"Hey Chat!!"
"Hey Princess" CHat's voice was slightly off.
"You okay Chat?" Marinette was worried about her partner in black.
"Yeah I'm fine, just have a little cold."
"If you say so. Wanna come play games with us?" Marinette didn't notice Alya and Nino staring with their mouths wide open.
"Always." Chat gave his signature smirk and followed the three upstairs.
"We...are...playing...video games with CHAT NOIR!!!!!!!!" ALya gave a fangirl scream and quickly ran upstairs.
"Has anyone seen Adrian?" Nino asked, realizing someone was missing.
"Uh, yeah. He went to the bathroom."
"I'm just gonna go check on him."
"I'm fine nino. Glad to know your worried about me though!" Adrian said, walking up behind the group.
"Adrian," Marinette turned to him to introduce him to Chat "this is Chat noir, as I am sure you can tell. He stopped by and is going to play games with us!"
