VANOSS'S POV
It was time to go to lunch and I was trying to look for Sydney because Mae and Lauren hasn't seen her. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen her since yesterday. Haven't seen her this morning. I was in the hallway walking as I try to look for Sydney when I heard people talking. I started to listen until I got close to the people so I stopped walking. "Come on Eli! I want to be with you!" A very familiar female voice said. "Your dating someone". The person named Eli said. "Well yeah but your more handsome". Said the familiar voice. "Course I am!" Eli said. "Then please". Said the female said. I heard this Eli guy sighed. "Fine but you have to dump Evan soon". Eli said. Wait.... I then heard kissing and quickly looked at the people. My heart sank and my fists clenched. "Sydney?! Are you kidding me?!" I thought. I walked away angrily. How could she do this to me?! I loved her! I made her my everything! I gave her amazing things and this is what she does?! I was so angry until I remembered something. Something Lovell and Calamity said.

You should keep your maiden on a leash and have a close eye on her

Is that why they were telling me that?! Because they knew?! I crossed my arms and looked down. "Well I don't need Sydney. She's a two-timing little rat". I mumbled. I kept walking until I tripped on something. I fell to the ground and growled. I looked up and saw...... Calamity. She laughed. "Well if it isn't my favorite puppet Evan". She said. I growled and got up and dusted myself off. "Did you trip me?" I said. "Well you basically tripped on my book bag while I was in my locker so that probably counts". She said. Is she serious? "Whatever...". I said. "Shouldn't you be with your friends and your maiden?" She said with a smirk. "Don't! Bring her up! Why should you care anyway?" I said. "Aw so you found out". She said pouting. "Yeah so?" I said. "Well that's too bad for you. Now your defenseless without a maiden on your side". She said with a smirk. I growled. But then I stopped when she started to get close to my face. My face started to heat up. "I-I'm n-not defenseless. I-I have m-my friends". I said. "Oh?" Was all she said before chuckling. "But they aren't here now, are they?" She said. Crap. "W-What do you want from me, Calamity?" I said. She chuckled softly before running her hand through her hair. "Oh, whatever made you think that I wanted something from you? I'm just doing what I want. Breaking you". She said. "W-What?" I said softly. "I'm breaking you. Don't you remember what I told you before leaving to go to that silly little camping trip and you took Marissa away? I'm just doing what I promised". She said. "Y-Your breaking me?" I said. "Uh Huh. Each time I do this to you, your sanity slowly breaks. But just slowly". She whispered. I didn't even know what to say... "W-Why?" I said. "Heh. You honestly expect you and your friends to go unpunished for the things you did to us? Especially Marissa?" She said. She gotten closer and suddenly I was against the lockers. "This is what happens when you cross us. We get them back but I like doing it my way. Your lucky cause another way I could've done was to beat you until I'm satisfied". She said with a sadistic smile. My eyes widen. "Now I should be going. Hope we could do this again Evan". She said and once again kissed my cheek. And once I closed my eyes and then opened them, she disappeared. My face was heating the hell up and I walked away. I put my hand on my face and then went to the bathroom to douse my face in cold water. Once I went to the bathroom and put cold water on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror. "What is that girl doing to me? Doing that weird stuff and getting really close to my face. She calls that breaking my sanity. Though her eyes are beautiful up close". I thought but then I shook my head. "I can't be thinking like that about that girl. That is what she wants!" I mentally shouted. I took some deep breaths. "But...... her lips were so soft and she looked so beautiful". I thought. I growled angrily. "Why?!" I said. "Dude you ok?" Someone said and I turned around to see Del. I took deep breaths before sighing. "I'm fine". I said running my hand through my hair. "You sure? You look so stressed out". He said worriedly. "Yeah I'm fine. Don't worry but it seems like I will be single soon". I said. "What? What do you mean?" He said. "I saw....... Sydney kissing some dude". I said. "Oh. I'm sorry to hear that". He said. "No it's ok. She's such a rat". I said. He nodded in agreement and we left the bathroom walking to the group. "Is Sydney there?" I said. "No". He said. "Good. I don't wanna see her". I said. "When are you gonna break up with her?" He said. "Today. I'm not gonna stay with her for long". I said. "Good cause you don't need that rat anyways". He said. I smiled. "Thanks man". I said and we fist bumped. Soon we got to the cafeteria and we met up with the guys. Today's gonna be stressful.
