filled with hope,
she cried silently
praying for someone
to help her immediately
but no one came,
because they were
too busy
so she tried to save
herself from drowning
in pain and agony
but she's just too weak,
too fragile, and pallid
the girl sank, lifeless,
for she couldn't save
her own self.
