We were gazing at the stars when you said, “Aishiteru.”
It was so sudden and out of the blue.
That's why I asked you,
“What is the word Aishiteru?”
Instead of answering, you stood up, leaving me no clue.
Suddenly you stopped tracked
While looking back.
With tears flowing in your eyes, whispering something.
“My darling, sayonara. Always remember that 'aishiteru'.”
You left me hanging, not even knowing what to do.
You bid goodbye leaving me dumbfounded without any clue.
“Goodbye my darling, aishiteru.”
