I'm NEVER, EVER, EVER, going to talk back to a teacher again,

*Flashback*

"Now kids, what are the first seven numbers of pi?" Our teacher, Mrs Hamlor asks in her usual monotone voice.

Straight away one hand goes up. Surprise, surprise, its Helena. "3.141592." Helena fires the numbers out of her mouth, barely containing herself from saying more. Like 39 more.

"Thank you Helena, but what is that on your hand?" I glance beside me at her hand and groan silently. Of course she has drawn a T.A.R.D.I.S on her hand once again. I glare at her knowing she's going to get another detention, putting us further behind on our science project.

"Detention for you Miss. Loson. I will see you at lunch today and tomorrow." The teacher stated, a slight smile on her face. At this I lost it, and things started going wrong.

" Excuse me miss, but she can't have detention today as we HAVE to do our science project."

I know teachers get angry but do their eyes really glow red?

"How dare you talk back to me you demigod scum. You useless greeks are so full of yourself! I would kill you now if I did not have my orders!" As she ranted on her hair formed into red snakes. That explains the babbling about greek demigods.

"Gorgon," Helena muttered, she was addicted to greek mythology "Must be Stheno, the eldest one, because of her red snakes. Also," At this she takes a small breath, "The most murderous." She jumps up from her seat and bolts to the door trying to escape from the gorgons wrath.

I follow behind Helena wishing that I could disappear. I just want to shrink so small the gorgon cant see me. As I think this, the world begins to grow. I scream in terror, I'm actually shrinking!

"Stop playing hide and seek sweeties!" The Gorgon yells. "I promise I won't hurt you."

"Your not going to hurt anyone today." I hear behind me. Suddenly ash is floating down around me. Where the gorgon had stood moments earlier was a tall blond girl with grey eyes, She wears a orange t-shirt and holds a small bronze dagger.

"You can come out now, I promise I won't hurt you." Blondie says, looking around for us.

I will myself to grow back to regular hight, begging that I'm not stuck as a tiny person forever. Luckily it works and I'm back to normal in no time. Blondie just stands and stares at me in shock. "How?" Is all she mutters before Helena peeps from around the corner.

"I think we all have a lot of explaining to do." I say, my mind replaying the past five minutes over and over again. How is a very good question.

The next few hours go by in a blur. But somehow me manage to arrive at some sort of camp.

"Welcome to Camp Half Blood." Blondie, no, Annabeth, she said her name was. She calls some guys over to help us to an infirmary, where we are checked over for any injuries.

"Looks like this is going to be an interesting summer." I whisper to Helena. All she does is nod in reply.
