Chapter 18 -

Magma's P.O.V.

After the chat with my sister, (still feels weird.) I decide to talk to dad. I slip down the halls, through the hall, and arrive at his office. I hear him speaking to someone, so I wait.
"Father! Please, if you help me, not only will the obnoxious god Zeus be gone, but your Magma will be free to go home, and enjoy life as a human again. You've seen how she looks at that boy. She needs to be given freedom again, she needs her home." My jaw drops. It was Gaia, convincing father to go on her side.
"Gaia, darling, I see what your point is, but what about Magma? She probably won't want this." Chaos questions.
"Why don't you ask her? She's right here." The door opens, revealing my father and Gaia. I give a small smile.
"Hi dad, just wanted to have a quick chat before the battle." I state.
"Magma! Perfect timing, Gaia and I wanted to talk to you, about this war." He plants a small frown on his face.
"Gaia is on the enemies side. She's the leader of the anti-god group. Are we not meant to be helping the gods?" I ask, acting innocent. Gaia gives me a knowing look.
"Well, we have been discussing. She wants me, as her father, to help win the earth back. She claims that you would then be free to roam the earth again." My breath hitches. "And be able to live a normal life with your new friend." His frown slightly deepens. I give a small giggle at his concern for me.
"As much as I want a normal life, it would be too boring. I've got powers, and I need to use them. But I want to walk on earth again, without hiding. I'm only aloud in roman camp, because the gods are unable to stay in one form long enough to notice me. I want to return to my home, my real home." Gaia smiles and my father nods.
"Well then. My lovely daughters have united against the gods. Gather your troops, tell them to return home immediately. Then go to the roman camp and bring Octavian. I have some things to discuss." I sigh. "About the war." He adds. I laugh, knowing that's not all it's about.
"Sir, yes, sir." I laugh, giving him a mock salute. With a grin on his face, he waves his hand, and creates a portal beneath me.

I land in the tent at CHB, everyone surrounding me. I stumble and fall over on my face. Kira and some of the others crack up laughing. "Not fair! I didn't create this portal, Chaos did, before I was ready." I defend myself. "But anyway, pack your things, we have been ordered to return to our dimension." Most of the others start moving, but Jonathan, bearing a massive black eye, stays where he is.
"The wars about to begin! We can't leave now!" He demands. I stand in shock.
"I thought you were smart. Your not only questioning my orders, but Chaos'! Don't make me tell him you are incapable of fighting, because of your silly obsession of trying to make my life miserable." Jonathan just glares and walks away.
"You shouldn't talk to him that way." Jewel declares, placing her bag down in front of her. I shrug. Impatience takes over and I turn around, exiting the tent.
"Is everyone in the tent?" I ask, using telepathy. I get a chorus of yes. I create a portal right underneath the tent, taking them back home, tent and all. I get a couple of people getting a bit grumpy, but I don't really care. I then head over to the roman camp, and find Octavian.

"Hey babe!" He calls, jogging over to me.
"Hey. I, well, my father requested to talk to you. It's about the war. Don't worry." I add on at the end, seeing the concern on his face. "Just let me grab the others, and we will go." Octavian nods, still nervous. I grab his hand and give it a squeeze, then create a portal beneath us. We pop out at my tent, where Dawn and Michael are making out. I create a portal underneath their feet, then drag Octavian in after them, me following close behind. As we land I get attacked by Dawn and Michael attacking me with tickles. I beg them to stop, and finally they quit the torment. We then rush down the halls, to the meeting room. Octavian stays beside me, his body slightly tense. I grab his hand and try to calm him down. It works, slightly.

After sending the rest of my army to get briefed by Chaos, I took Octavian on a tour of the castle. He loved the training rooms the most, because, well, because they are amazing. Suddenly I hear yelling, and someone hitting a wall. I order Octavian to stay in the common room, then raced off to find the arguing. "Magma, get your butt over here now, before Jono kills someone. Bring Chaos." Kira's voice bounces around my head. I race down the halls back to Chaos' office.
"Dad, come, please. I don't think I can stop this one." My father slips out from behind his desk, following close behind me. We arrive in the common room, to find Jonathan holding Octavian by the neck, knife in hand.

Rage takes over me. I fling him across the room with my telekinesis. He smacks into the couch, maybe breaking his leg in the process. I then rush over to Octavian, who is sitting in the floor, his back pressed against the wall. I check if he's ok, before storming over to the couch, where Jonathan lies. I feel a hand rest on my shoulder, belonging to my father. "Go easy on him." He whispers.
"I'll try."

"He deserved it. Trying to kill the Greeks. Our families! Now you want to just kill the gods?" Jonathan is practically yelling at me.
"The Greeks betrayed him, like they betrayed us. I didn't see your 'family' trying to help you when your father abandoned you. We are family, and your just throwing that away." Tears form in my eyes. I give in, a portal appears in front of me. "Leave, now. You will arrive at my friends house. She will help you out. But if I see you again, don't expect much sympathy." Everyone watches as he storms his way through the portal, never to be seen again. I turn round. "Anyone want to join him?" I ask, looking at a stricken Jewel. When no one replies, I close the portal, grab Octavian, and head down to my fathers office, again.

A.N. Hey Guys! So, sadly this book is coming to an end. 😔 this is going to be my first completed book ever on wattpad. I'm kinda sad about that... But hey, here's to more books to come! Be decided I'm gonna write a sequel, but due to the new book I'm writing (check it out! Marvel fanfic) it won't be coming out for awhile. I'm thinking it will come out after my Facebook thing is completed, but I have others books I'm preparing... So I will let you know when it comes!
