Prom With Normani?!

Chapter 7

Sade's POV
So we're right in front of the building. And I'm completely nervous. I think Normani could see it cause she asked me......

Normani: Hey, you ok?
Sade: I'm cool. Why you ask?
Normani: cause you're moving your leg up and down constantly.
Sade: ok, so I'm a little nervous.
Normani: Don't worry. I will be right here with you. Ok?
Sade: Ok.

So since Normani and I are near the door, I got out first while I helped Normani out, then Quincy came out and helped Ryan out, Then lastly Alex came out and helped Diamond out. We got in the building and once we got in the lobby, we saw two of our favorite teachers.

Ms. Jada: Hey ladies and gents. You guys look incredible.
Everyone: Thank You
Ms. Jada: *laughs* your welcome. And Sade, who's the lovely lady next to you?
Sade: This is my date, The beautiful Normani Kordei.
Ms. Jada: oh my goodness!!!! Your in fifth harmony!! My daughter loves you girls
Normani: Awwwww that's so sweet. And tell her I said I love her.
Ms. Jada: I will. And omg your so gorgeous!!!

She blushes while she looks down. How adorable can she be?

Mr Fernandez: Hey ladies. You look beautiful.
Girls: Thank you.
Mr. Fernandez: Hey Sade. Who's your beautiful date?
Sade: This is Normani Kordei. Normani, Ms. Jada is my English teacher, and Mr. Fernandez is my guidance counselor.
Normani: Hi, it's nice to meet y'all both.
Both: the pleasure is ours.
Mr. Fernandez: Ok, so Ms. Jada and I are gonna open these doors for y'all ok? So who's going first?
Ryan: Usssss!!!!!!
Sade: Pshhh Dramatic much?
Ryan: Shut up.

Quincy and Ryan were in front of the door. And as soon as both of our teacher and counselor opened the door, we heard a bunch of screams and hollering, and the music blasting.

Ms. Jada: Alright, who's next.
Diamond: we will go next. I think Sade wants to go last.
Sade: Thanks DD.
Diamond: No problem. Come on Alex.

Alex and Diamond came in front of the door, and as soon as they opened the door, they got the same reaction Ryan and Quincy got. But only a bit louder. I hope once I get in there, Ryan and Diamond save a seat for me and Normani, cause that's where I wanna go as soon as I go in there.

Mr. Fernandez: You ready Sade?
Sade: Not really. You know why.
Mr. F: I know. But listen, once you sing that song, you will prove to them not to mess with you. Ok? You got this.
Normani: He's right. And if anyone says anything, try to ignore them. If they go out of line, I can step in......
Sade: No no. Its ok. I appreciate you for trying to help me, but I gotta do this for me. I'm gonna stand up for myself this time.
Normani: ok. But whatever happens, just know that I'm proud of you.
Sade: *smiles* I couldn'tve done it without my inspiration. I have you to thank.

As Normani and I are smiling at each other, I hear Mr. F starts crying.

Sade: Mr. F? Are you....... are you crying?
Mr. F: nooooo!!!! I just got pieces of dust in my eye.
Sade: Awww you are crying. Let me give my teddy bear of a counselor a hug.

I hugged him and kissed him on his cheek and I Thanked him for sticking with me within these 4 years. He's been more like a counselor to me. He's been like a father to me. And I'm glad I had someone like him in my life. Before I let go, he told me in my ear.......

Mr. F: I know you like her. And I approve. Get with her, before someone else does.
Sade: but I don't know if she wants to be with someone like me.
Mr. F: I see the way she looks at you. Trust me. She likes you. Now, go have a memorable night with your date.
Sade: Thanks pops. I love you
Mr.F: *sniffs* I love you too Babygirl.

I hugged him once more and I went to normani with my hand out.....

Sade: My lady *bows a little*
