Sade's POV As I asked her that, im just freaking out in my head. My palms are getting sweaty, I'm getting butterflies in my stomach. Its not easy trying to talk to someone you like. Im surprised I got passed the stage of talking to Normani. But asking her to take her out, im not saying its a problem. But its scary. Cause you don't know what answer your gonna get.
Normani: Yes. I would love to.*smiles*
I released breath, I didn't know I was holding
Sade: whew oh thank God. I'm so happy you said yes. Normani: really? Why is that? Sade: it's hard asking a pretty lady like yourself out to eat. And mostly because I always get turned down so. Normani: *Blushes and giggles* Thank you. Well they are missing out on someone special. And I'm glad that I said yes. When can we leave? Sade: let me ask Ryan and Diamond if they're ready. Diamond! We got the limo, and when everyone got to the car I told the driver in his ear to drop Normani and I to Pink-berry, then take us to the Brooklyn bridge park. Then he can take the rest of the girls to their after party. After I told him, I opened my door and went inside the limo and we left.
Normani: Did you guys enjoyed y'all prom? Everyone: Yesss!! It was litt Alex: that Dj was fire tonight tho. Quincy: yo he was. Ryan: but Normani, did you enjoyed yourself. Normani: oh most definitely, I had a great time. Ryan: what was your favorite part about tonight? Normani: When Sade performed her song about me. Sade: *Smiles and looks down* Normani: *giggles* Ryan: that was my favorite part too.
20 minutes later.......
Sade: Alright Guys, This is our stop. We will see you guys later alright? Everyone: Alright!! Ryan: Stay safe. Sade: you guys as well.

Normani's POV Oh my gosh, she's so sweet. As I told her thank you my phone started to ring. When I checked, it's my manager Brandon.
Normani: Hey Brandon. Brandon: Hey sweetheart. How's everything going? Normani: *smiles* it's going great. Brandon: you like her don't you? Normani: How did you know that? Brandon: I can hear you smile when you said *mocks her* it's going great. Normani: *laughs* I do not sound like that. Brandon: *laughs* I know. I'm just joking. Well I have some news to tell you. When she looked back at me with both of our ice cream in her hand, it seemed like she already started hers cause she has a little ice cream on her cute nose.
Normani: *giggles* Sade: *giggles* why are you laughing? Normani: There's a little ice cream on your nose. Sade: oh my gosh, let me get it off. Normani: No no come. I'll get it off. Brandon has some good news for us. Sade: I'm coming.
She comes to walk towards me and we sat down while I put Brandon on speaker.
Normani: Ok, Brandon you're on speaker phone.
While he's talking, I took a piece of napkin and wiped the little ice cream she had on her nose and what Brandon said made me drop the napkin in front of her......
Brandon: Well I'm honored to tell you that the Billboard Awards is coming up. And you and Khalid are gonna be performing love lies.......
We both looked at each other with wide eyes.......
Normani: Wait, What? Brandon: Yup, congratulations sweetheart. Normani: I......... I don't know what to say. Oh my gosh....... Brandon: I know that your excited right now. And you have the right to be. But the bad news is that you have to come in Tonight. Normani: Wait what? What about the interviews I have in New York? Brandon: Don't worry. I canceled them. The billboard awards is just in a few weeks. And we need to get ready. Normani: oh.........ok Brandon: yeah. I'm sorry that I had to cut your time short with Sade. Normani: no, no it's okay I get it. Once I ended the call, I looked at Sade and both of us started to scream.
Both: AHHHHHHHHH!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! Sade: This is going to be big for you!!!!! Now the world is going to see who Normani really is!!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! Normani: *smiles* Thanks. I'm really excited. Sade: *smiles back* your welcome. Normani: we need to celebrate. Sade: you want to celebrate with me? Normani: Of course I do. Why you think I said we. Sade: oh. I thought you didn't want to celebrate with me *leans back and puts her hands in her pockets while she looks down* Normani: *leans forward and lifts up her head while she took one of her hands* hey, why wouldn't I? You telling me how the world is gonna see who I really am, made me less nervous about performing. And hearing this good news with you, *talks softly* I think we should celebrate this good news together. Sade: *smiles* Normani: *smiles back* Sade: So where would you like to go to celebrate? I would say we could go get something to eat but.... Normani: we still can. Sade: alright let's go.......
