Tom had the perfect second date plan. He had rented out a dance studio as he knew Harriet loved to dance. He made sure that he had Harrison ready to film the completed dance, to which Tom would give Harrison the heads up. He knew that it would take them a few hours at least to get the routine set as he had come up with it in his head. He had texted Harriet to wear a dress she would be able to dance in and just some simple shoes that she could slip off. Though she had told him she was confused as to what he had planned she agreed. He picked her up at her trailer at 10 am and they walked out of set together.
He had felt bad for days after the whole Shawn Mendes and Harriet Markle scheme on Instagram when things had gone downhill on her Instagram post after he had commented. He had apologized over and over to both his girlfriend and Shawn yet he still felt bad. So, he planned this date to win his girl back even though she had said that she had put the whole thing behind her.
Harriet was waiting for him outside her trailer when he arrived. The pair walked in a comfortable silence to the taxi Tom had called exactly ten minutes before going to get Harriet, he asked the driver discreetly to take them to the dance studio.
When they got there, Harriet was taken aback, she hadn't set foot in a dance studio in forever, not since she was 15 before her father stopped paying for her dance lessons. Though her parents had split, that was the one thing her father had promised he'd continue paying for and he just stopped, causing Harriet to lose all interest in dancing after that, no matter how hard Meghan had tried to get her back into dancing by almost paying for the fee a couple of times if it got Harriet out of the troubled state she had been in before she met Tom.
After Tom explained to Harriet what he wanted to do, the basic plan not the whole plan. He left out the part where Harrison would record the dance, but Harriet knew Tom was up to something else and accepted every suggestion he made while they danced. Dancing was exhilarating, it fired Harriet up so much that she even gave Tom a few suggestions on some dance moves that they could do and she said
"Well, if Harrison's recording this we'll want it to be good wouldn't we?" She said. Looking at Tom with her hands on her hips. Tom stopped midway to the speaker that he had placed on the floor.
"You know?" Tom asked. Harriet nodded.
"I know you two well enough Tom. He isn't the best at hiding." Harriet said, causing Tom to come into the room from where he stood near the front desk. Tom sighed.
"I'm sorry. I should've just told you but. Now that you know we may as well as just film this. And afterward, I'm going to take you somewhere as an apology." Tom said, Harriet, smiled and nodded.
Tom played Dean Lewis's song Waves, and the pair started dancing, to say Harrison was shocked when they finished was an understatement, they made the perfect pair, even as dancing partners. Harrison sent the video to Tom and Harriet's personal Instagram accounts, knowing that they would want to post it later.
"Thanks, buddy. I owe you one." Tom said to Harrison as the pair left the dance studio. Harrison nodded.
"I'll hold you onto that," Harrison said, Tom laughed. Harrison walked away from the pair, still getting over the shock of seeing them dance so flawlessly for the first time.
