The first quote on quote 'chapter' of this book was a page with my terribly drawn pictures of Pikachu and Buneary. The revelation that Pikachu looked like satan left me determined to redeem myself, and also to not draw Pikachu again because that picture is probably possessed by a demon. With that said, here are some of my new pictures drawn for this fanfic of mine!

This is Ash's Infernape! He's very hot headed (literally) an de is quick to start fights. Whether or not this is accurate to Infernape in the show I'm not sure. I've watched all of the Pokemon seasons up until the style change so Sun and Moon, but it'd been so long that I hardly remember how Infernape's personality was. I know he was shown to have issues with rage, as seen when his blaze ability would activate, however I don't know how much of that translated over to him post overcoming his ability. Diamond and Pearl was good from what I remember, and it is the season of the show where in which the ship for this fanfic came about. Because of this, I thought it fitting to have Infernape as one of Ash's roster. Feel free to disagree with me, but I won't be removing Infernape's role in the story. I am genuinely pleased with how his picture came out, though I have to reference a posing model I made up VERY heavily when drawing him. Full body pictures just aren't my thing.
Anyways, on to the next train wreck!

This is Lauro before he was given a name and before I used posing tools. He was drawn a fair while before I drew Infernape so forgive the cringe. He wears a jacket which you'd think would be biker leather, but it's actually a nice suit jacket that Lauro has roughed up a little to look a bit more edgey. He and Infernape have a bit of a weird dynamic going on. Really they both thought the other looked really cool upon first seeing the other, but stubborn male pride got in the way of either of them actually initiating a conversation. A strong bro friendship would probably have been forged between the two if their first interaction hadn't been Lucario trying to be manly i̶n̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶n̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶g̶i̶r̶l̶ ̶h̶e̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶s̶—— in front of buneary and acting like a total jerk to Infernape. From There, it was battle of who had the superior amounts of testosterone (a battle of which Pikachu won!).
You may have noticed that Lauro has a name other than Lucario whilst Infernape doesn't. I'll explain if you care to read. I like to believe that after settling on being a Pokemon Coordinator, Dawn became a lot more serious about her stage work. Naming her Pokemon something other than their breed gave them a lot more personality which a perfromed needs on stage. She didn't rename her OG Pokemon, but the newer additions got some names. Note that Bunnelby was not given a name as he was caught before this decision was made.

This Bunnelby, boyfriend to Buneary and mostly unused character up to this point in the story. Not much to say about this guy without ruining stuff to do with the story. So... yeah...
