The next morning Skellor and Tucker were woken up and asked to report to the Flying Club room as soon as they could. They came in and saw that Cat, the twins, Flash, Storm, Felix, and Vincent were there as well. Sky Archer walked out of the office in the back. "Good morning everyone."
"Yo Neil, why are we here at four in the morning?" One of the twins asked.
"Good question." Sky Archer responded. "Today we are having some very special training. I am going to be teaching you a very useful tool that only a Flyer can use. We have a few people who already know how to do it, so they are excused. What I am going to teach you is something called an Ultimate form."
"Then why are there non-shifters here?" Tucker asked, yawning.
"Also a good question." Sky Archer adjusted his goggles. "The process of learning to control your Ultimate form, even learning how to go into it, can be extremely dangerous and I needed some capable Tamers to help me in case things get out of hand."
Tucker nodded. "I see."
Vincent spoke up. "How are you going to teach us to go into and control our Ultimate forms?"
"Its different for every person." Sky Archer answered clearly. "We will need to to trigger your Ultimate forms so you can figure out a way to induce this form whenever you please. Once you're in your Ultimate form, you will have to learn to control it on your own, but I will be here to guide you." He looked at everyone. "You will be placed in teams of two. Myth Rider, Tucker, Mason and I will be watching over all of you. If someone gets out of hand, call out and one of us will come over to help. The last thing we want is someone getting hurt."
Everyone was placed in teams. Skellor was teamed with Felix and Storm, Cat was teamed with Vincent and Flash was teamed with Jackson. Tucker was assigned to watch over Flash and Jackson, Mason was watching Cat and Vincent and Sky Archer and Myth Rider watched the other three. Everyone sat together and talked about what was most important to them. The theory was that if the thing they found most important was threatened, their Ultimate form would trigger.
Jackson started first. "My brother is most important to me. I would do anything to protect him. He's everything and all that I have."
Flash nodded. "Yeah, my family and Ranae are most important to me. I would climb mountains and swim oceans for them."
Tucker listened to them, taking note to what they were saying. He looks over at Sky Archer, who was listening to his group as well. "Does this mean that we put what they love in danger?"
Jackson looked over. "You better not! If Mason gets hurt there won't be anything of you left!"
Flash joined in. "Yeah! You even think about going after my family or Ranae, you're dead!"
Sky Archer looked over at them. "And what will you do if they are put in danger? Without your Ultimate form, there will be no way to save them."
Jackson snarled and Flash hissed, taking the bait. Sky Archer watched them get riled up and he pressed more.
"You two are completely powerless, you could never save them with your normal state. Without an Ultimate form, you could never save them."
Jackson roared and went after Sky Archer, something happening. Leaves, grass and vines surrounded him, along with a green wind, but when he came out, he wasn't in his dragon form. Instead, scripts of magic text and runes surrounded the ball of nature and slowly sucked into Jackson, his eye turning a very pale blue, his fringe growing down to his shoulder, giant wings coming from his back, his jeans completely ripped and his shoes gone, scaled legs with dragon feet replacing it and green scales covering parts of his bare chest. He roared loudly, long fangs in his mouth.
