"Oh my god Grayson!" I cracked up laughing at the sight of my friend

"Oh my god josey!" Grayson mocks

I roll my eyes and chuckle

Anyway, I'm josey Grace, I'm 18 years old and I live with my brother and his best friends. My brother Kai has a girlfriend who lives here as well, her name is dasha Shawn

She's a complete bitch.

In this house hold there is Grayson Dolan, brock Janet and Kalani hunter. These three are my brothers Bestest friends

And of course there's Dasha but she's irrelevant to me.

"Kai I'm going for a swim wth Marla" I said as I walked out of the house towards my bestfriends house.

I knock on the door and walk in "are you ready yet you hoe?!" I yelled (I am very aware Ava would never say this. But remember it's a fricken book)

"Yuhp stink ass" she chuckled as she hugged me

I nodded "let's go then"

If your wondering , we live in Hawaii there's about a 2 minute walk to the beach from our houses which is very convenient considering Marla and I love surfing.

My brother, her and I have been competing in many surf competitions with Dasha being mine and Marla's  competition as my brother is in a higher grade than me.

Anywho.

We arrived at the beach and luckily it wasn't as packed as it always was, Marla and I have learned to go for an afternoon swim at about 5pm because that's when everyone's busy and all that shit.

I ran into the water and swam around doing the usual, it's honestly just a routine for me and my bestfriend

"There's a bonfire tonight are you coming?" I asked

I kinda always had to go to bonfires with my brother and his friends, only because my brother doesn't like it when I'm alone after 7pm. Don't ask me why.

"Nah I think I'm gonna study. I have a humanities exam next week" Marla rolled her eyes

I laughed and splashed some water into her face

"You suck ass" I laughed

"You suck Grayson's ass" Marla smirked as she splashed me back

I rolled my eyes and laughed at her before pushing her head away from me

I guess you could say I have a little crush on my brothers best friend Grayson, but he only sees me as a little sister along with Brock and Kalani, I can't even eat a burger with a boy at school without home of them scaring the boy.

"Shut up at least I didn't suck Brocks dick under the bleachers" I mocked

Marla laughed "your such a douche"

Instead of going straight home I decided to go straight to the bonfire, Marla went home after our swim.

"Sis" Kai said

"Put this on, you look like a hooker" he said again as he threw me one of his hoodies

"Fuck off it's like 900 degrees" I groaned

"I got it Kai, get your girlfriend" Grayson chuckled as he pointed towards Dasha

"Fuck, make sure she gets covered up" Kai said walking away

I rolled my eyes "are you really gonna treat me like you did when we were 4?"

"Well your just in shorts and a bikini top" Grayson chuckled

Oh Jesus that chuckle

"Sorry did you say something ?" Grayson smirked

"Ah no-" I stuttered but I was cut off my two voices. Brock and Kalani

"What's up Josey! Grayson, Kai wants you" Brock said

"For what?" Grayson said

"Stuff" Kalani said raising his eyebrows

Grayson being the dumb fuck asked again
"Grayson, it's stuff duh?" Kalani states again

I rolled my eyes and let them all argue before walking away.

I decided to sit down on a log which was right in front of the fire pit

I watched heaps of people laughing, kissing, dancing, and drinking at one point I even saw Marla which I thought was interesting because she was with Brock.

It was starting to get a bit nippy And it didn't help much because I was still in my bikini top.

I folded my arms and shivered quickly and quietly "Cold I see?" Grayson mocked

He sat beside me and gave me a blanket "Oh no I-i don't need It" I smiled shivering softly

"Yes baby girl you do, your shivering" he chuckled. Grayson was the only one who could get away with calling me baby girl. And to be quite honest I liked it.

He wrapped it around me and held me beside him "Fuck josey you cold as hell" he said warming me up

I chuckled "where'd you get the blanket from?" I asked as I looked into his beautiful hazelish eyes

"Jus from my truck. Hey do you want to get out of here ? I mean you are cold and Kai will bring everyone else home" Grayson offered

"So what do you say?" He smiled

I nodded and we stood up, I lead the way and he followed me. We walked to his car and I hopped in shivering

"Did you eat anything?" Grayson asked

I coughed awkwardly, so it's something I don't really talk to anyone about and I don't really want to if I'm being honest, but I have an eating disorder and it just gets to the point where I don't eat at all even if it's for a week. I'd drink water but I'd still hate myself because I'd think I'm still to fat

"Josey?" Grayson asked as he looked at me

"U-um y-yeah" I lied, obviously. My brother and all the boys all know I used to have an eating disorder but they all thought I got better. However when my mum passed away everything came back and all I felt like was nothing and so my problem hasn't really gone away. Nobody knows it's a big problem for me now because I obviously haven't told anyone.

"Josey? Are you sure?" He smiled

"Yuhp please let's just go home" I smiled quickly
