-Josey (3 months after the incident) also their back in Hawaii

A lot has happened In the past three months.

The government banned purge night in New Jersey.

My brother and the boys ended up staying longer than expected.

And worstly Grayson got a girlfriend, not me. My ex bestfriend, Marla.  Don't even ask please.

I walked into my room and sighed, I was currently home alone with just my puppy Grayson bought me when we came back from New Jersey

"Hey pal" I smiled as I held him

He was a baby German Shepard,  Grayson adopted him, his name is frost.

He wagged his tail happily with his pouting tongue hanging out

"All you ever do now is be with her! Grayson! It's not fair!"

"Marla! I fucking live with her! Oh well yeah we've had a past but I love you!"

I've adjusted to this. Ever since gray and I had that hospital talk, he became distant and before I knew it he was in Marla's  pants

Now he loves her apparently and they always fight at around this time

He says he loves her and hates me then kisses her, makes he feel like Beyoncé, and then they completely forgets why they fought in the first place

I hate relationships like that, I'm not saying that because I'm jealous or anything but like if your gonna date someone, at least make it work. Don't fight and bicker about the same thing over and over.

Frost started to bark which made me laugh "Shhh your gonna get us in trouble" I mocked

"You know what Marla ? I'm done! D o n e, DONE!" I heard Grayson yell

I jumped up and listened closely again

"Get the fuck out" he said and the door slammed seconds later

I chuckled "same old same old huh frost? She'll be back in the morning"

Frost turned her head and I have her a kiss whilst giggling.

I walked into the kitchen and behind the counter was Grayson

"Hey gray" I smiled

He looked up from his phone "yeah hey" he said looking down straight away

"I heard what happened, are you alright?" I asked nicely

"Look it's not your business so I'd appreciate it if you didn't stick your finger in my pie" Grayson said annoyed

"Woah watch it dude, i was lowkey just asking if you were okay what's up your fucking ass?" I said with an attitude

Grayson had his full attention on me now

"Don't fucking speak to me like that" he spat

"Okay please just calm down, I didn't mean to offend you" I said quietly

"Your just always in the way Josey, your always there to make my day even more miserable than it is. You always get involved with things that don't include you and it's annoying. Just fucking piss off nobody needs you here anyway" Grayson said beginning to walk away

I was shocked at his words

"Wow, okay I guess that's how you feel" I said trying to hold back the tears

"But just so you know Grayson ? She's changed you" I choked out as I walked past him and out the door.

It was pouring rain and it was getting cold, I thought about going back home but I didn't wanna see Grayson

"Just fucking piss off, nobody needs you here anyway"

Graysons words replayed in my head as I sat on the sandy beach watching the waves and getting soaked in the rain

I sobbed and sobbed and eventually my sobs turned into cries. Full cries. Heaps of emotions just dripping down my face.

I was missing my brother. My parents. More importantly I was missing the real Grayson.

I cried harder and harder, it's like I couldn't stop "Josey!" I heard a voice yell

Many people were running past me and away from the rain and the soon to be storm

But I just couldn't do anything. At all. I couldn't feel anything. I was numb to the bone.

"Josey! Please! There's a storm heading our way! We need to go!" His voice beamed through my ears

"G-go away g-Grayson" I cried

"Josey please don't do this right now! We need to go" he said as he tried to grab my hand

"What if I don't want to go hm? What if I stay here? Nobody will care, after all nobody needs me here anyway" I cried more

The wind was picking up and there was heaps of thunder

"Maybe I should just die" I whispered hoping only I heard it

But Grayson raced over to me and held my hands, my body was to scared and numb to move or do anything

"No. You are not going to do that to yourself. Not here. Not now. Not ever! Your going to come with me right now and we're gonna go somewhere safe okay?" Grayson said

There was a pause for a minute until I pulled my arms away from him and ran towards the water

The currents looked strong. I'm a strong swimmer but I don't think being alive would be the best choice, so maybe I'll just go with the waves (lol idk if that makes sense OH well)

Before my body could be saturated even more in the ruff Hawaiian storm weather, a strong grip grabbed onto me and all I remember is shutting off.
