𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦, it felt like a shift had occurred in their relationship. What once was a fierce animosity had transformed into an undeniable attraction, and over the following months, they became practically inseparable. Their connection deepened, and it was clear that they were drawn to each other in a way neither of them had anticipated.

One night, Derek decided to take a risk and sneak out to Morgan's house around midnight, eager to steal some moments with her. They had a favorite spot they often visited, an old, abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Beacon Hills. As they dashed inside to escape prying eyes, the chemistry between them ignited, and they wasted no time in closing the distance that had once felt so impossible.

The moment they were inside, Derek pulled Morgan close, pressing his lips against hers with a sense of urgency. His hands found their way to her waist, holding her tightly as if he never wanted to let go. In response, Morgan tangled her fingers in Derek's soft hair, feeling the thrill of their connection. It was a moment filled with passion and excitement, a testament to how far they had come from their initial rivalry.

As the two teens shared a passionate kiss, Morgan's mind suddenly flickered back to a question she had meant to ask him that evening. The realization hit her like a bolt, and she abruptly broke away from their tender moment, leaving a slightly bewildered Derek to stammer, "What?"

With a hint of shyness, Morgan looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Why do you like me? I mean, I thought maybe you were into me because I didn't show any interest at first." Her voice was soft, and she peered at him through her lashes, hoping for some clarity. Derek couldn't help but grin at her vulnerability; he found it endearing that she was concerned about their connection, even if he wished she wouldn't fret over it.

Derek leaned closer, his voice barely above a whisper as he reassured her, "So you're worried that now I know you like me that I'm gonna stop liking you? What if I never stop liking you?" Just as he was about to bridge the gap between them again, Morgan felt a wave of happiness wash over her, ready to lose herself in the moment. But just then, Derek pulled back completely, leaving her momentarily stunned and wondering what had just happened.

"What? Did you hear something? What's wrong?" Morgan asked anxiously as she noticed Derek scanning the empty building with a wary expression. Her heart raced when he suddenly said something that left her completely bewildered, adding to her unease.

"Something happened here. I caught a scent - Its blood," Derek blurted out, quickly pulling Morgan away from the dangerous spot he sensed was unsafe. Once they made it out of the woods, a wave of relief washed over him; ensuring Morgan was safe was always his top concern, and he felt a sense of calm returning as they distanced themselves from the now eerie location.
