Mariah
Since I took TWO showers last night, getting ready to go to bible school wasn't as busy for me.
What really got to me was waking up. I didn't go to sleep until one o'clock in the morning from writing in my composition and worrying about Darrell. He still hasn't texted or called me, so now I'm just pissed the f-ck off at him. But since today is Sunday, it should only be about one person: The Heavenly Father.
Unfortunately, my father won't be coming. He didn't get in until an hour ago, so he's just sleeping his a-s off; which he deserves.
I put on my outfit - a medium black, long-sleeved dress that stops at the knee-cap. It came with a black belt wrapped around it and I topped it off with some black low heels. Since the weather is obviously cold, I put on some black tights. After checking my hair to see if it was still in place, I went into the kitchen and fixed me some breakfast. Fifteen minutes later, I went to my dad's room to let him know that I was on my way out.
"Kay dad, I'm gone," I said, walking to his side.
"You're gone?" he mumbled, as he slowly opened his eyes. "That was fast."
"Hm, yeah. I took a good shower last night, so it was nothing,"
"Well, that's good," he yawned. "By the way, you're riding with Cindy."
My eyebrows definitely went up into the air. "I'm what?"
"Yes. She should be here by now,"
I sighed as I kissed him goodbye. "Kay, have a nice sleep,"
"I most certainly..." he drifted off, which I giggled at.
After I checked all of the doors were locked, I got my belongings and headed out. Thank goodness Mrs. Crawlings is going to be with us on the way there. I would literally cuss his a-s for leaving me hanging like he did last night and not one phone call. From dad's standpoint, he was probably hanging out with his friends and that bothers me. I'm not the possessive girlfriend type, but when you agree to coming to my house for a special night and you don't do it?
It makes one really frustrated.
"Oh h-ll nah," I mumbled to myself, as I stepped outside. Yeah, it was Mrs. C's car, but she wasn't driving it.
It was him.
While I was making the impulsive decision to get in the Civic, he jumped out and came to my side.
"Just hear me out," he spoke.
"About what?" I responded. "How you left me hangin'? Waiting for you? What the f-ck were you doing Darrell that was just so important that you couldn't even call me back?"
Instead of answering, he kissed me relentlessly. D-mn, Mariah. Don't do this. Don't let him get to you...
I did the exact opposite. Instead, I let him do this to me for a few minutes until I had to let go.
"I'm sorry Mariah," he laid his forehead on mine.
And I couldn't do anything but just stand there with him; in this cold a-s weather...

"Tell your dad we missed him!" said one of the ladies of the congregation.
"I will!" I smiled back. "See you next time!"
After bible school was done with, me and Darrell headed back to my place. Even though he apologized and we're in the same car together, that doesn't mean I'm not mad at him. Matter-of-fact, I'm not even speaking to him.
