Kongpob's POV
I don't know what is happening to my son these days. I have been asking him what is the reason he has become quite nowadays. Even I and P'Arthit have discussed about it, P'Arthit was very sad just like how I was maybe more than that. Aroon has reached 4th grade, these much years he had no problem at all but nowadays he had changed. I don't know why I feel like he is keeping distance from me.
He even asked me and P'Arthit to change him to school bus. Normally it is me who take him to school or rarely P'Arthit but 2 months before he asked us to change him to school bus. When we asked the why he said he want to be with his friends and spend time in bus, well that was a sincere answer and we agreed to it easily even if I was afraid to send him alone, well there will be others too. But nowadays when he comes home he has this fearfully and doubtful aura between him, I and P'Arthit even asked him what is the problem but he doesn't tell us. Whenever I ask him about school I see him shutter and I can see fear in his eyes.
I and P'Arthit went to Aroon's class to hear from his teacher if our son is having any trouble but she was all positive that he is very smart student and very impressive, she even told that he is one of the beat students in the section; we are very proud of him, good blessed us with such a smart kid. Whenever I have bad feelings about Aroon P'Arthit just assures me everything is fine and I don't need to worry. It is very great to have P'Arthit with me. I will see further if any of this thoughts come to my mind again.
Author's POV
"Hey spanky!!! Thinking you are all smart because you are getting good grades huh?? But no matter what the fact that you are a child of a gay couple obviously makes you disgusting to us!!" One of the students who are walking behind Aroon in the hallway teased him. Others laughed at the counter while Aroon just sighed and walked forward, well he was used to this from the beginning of this year onwards. Some of the boys blocked Aroon's way and stood there folding his arms "Poor guy! Do you know that you are adopted kiddo?? Poor you your GAY parents didn't tell you" those boys exclaimed and laughed. Aroon's eyes widened from what he heard now. This was the first time someone told him like this. Am I adopted?? Aroon asked in his mind but he quickly brushed that feeling away. "No! I am not adopted. All my relatives say that I look like my daddy. If I am adopted how will I look like Daddy?" Aroon reasoned after hearing the gesture of the boy. The boys laughed at him. "Well kiddo, don't you know that men cannot get pregnant? Only women can get pregnant weirdo. Your parents have made you a fool. It is only coincidence if you look like your gay daddy. If you don't believe go ask your Daddy and Mommy, oh well we can't say that he have two Daddies." The by replied and others laughed. They mocked Aroon's forehead and walked away leaving the stunned and confused Aroon in the middle of the hallway. "Does Mommy and Daddy adopted me? But mommy used to say about him being pregnant of me? Are they lying to me?" Aroon asked to himself. He sighed and proceeded to go to his class.
When he reached in his class he saw Kathy sitting in one of the bench reading a book. Kathy was Aroon's friend. She was brave and most of the time talked for Aroon when his other classmates tease him. Aroon decided to ask his doubt to Kathy, he know she won't lie to him. Aroon moved forward and sat beside her, she looked up when she felt someone sitting beside her. She smiled when she found it was Aroon. "What's up Aroon?" She asked and closed her book and looked at her friend. "Well nothing, I found you sitting here alone when I entered the class" Aroon described. Kathy nodded. "Well, Kathy can I ask you something?" Aroon asked as he started the conversation. Kathy raised a brow seeing Aroon's confused and fearful face. Kathy nodded and asked him what was the matter. "Well Kathy do you think men can get pregnant?" he asked his friend. Kathy laughed hearing the question "Hell no Aroon!!! How can a man get pregnant it's impossible!!" Kathy exclaimed. Aroon's shoulders dropped as he heard it. Daddy and Mommy lied to me!!!. "Why did you ask Aroon? Are you okay?" Kathy asked as she saw Aroon's disappointed face. Aroon shook his face. "No, nothing Kathy. Just asking and I am fine" Aroon replied and forced a smile. "Okay, of you say so" Kathy replied and decided to talk about what the teacher taught them. Soon the bell rang and all the students returned to their classes to study.
...............................Kongpob was arranging the dinning table for dinner. He looked upstairs for a second and sighed. After a few seconds he heard the door bell ring. He washed his hands before going to attend the door. Kongpob smiled hen he saw the most precious person of his life in front of him, his P'Arthit. Kongpob took the briefcase from Arthit's hand. Arthit hugged him on the waist and planted a soft kiss. "Hey, what's wrong? Where is Aroon?" Arthit asked as he saw Kongpob looked sad and also he didn't see Aroon. Mostly Aroon would be there when he arrives home to welcome him. Kongpob sighed "P I don't think this is good" Kongpob says and he places to briefcase on the working room. Arthit followed to where he went. Arthit turned Kongpob to face him and so full of worry and concern in his eyes. "Hey King, what happened? Is anything bothering you dear?" Arthit asked concerned. He....he doesn't even share anything with me now. I am sure something is bothering Aroon and we have to find it P" Kongpob inquired. Arthit pulled from the hug "Honey, what do you mean? You know we have visited Aroon's class teacher and she told he was totally fine there. Maybe he is tired from the games he play or about the quizzes. He is still growing up, he is not the little Aroon more Kong. He is growing" Arthit tried to explain because he never felt Aroon is keeping distance between him. Aroon always plays and be cheerful with Arthit so he didn't feel anything going wrong. Kongpob shook his head hearing the explanation, "But P, he is still our little Aroon to me. I am his mommy P. I can feel it, I can feel something is bothering our son. I...I....I am afraid if something is happening to him without others notice. P'Arthit it is not necessary for the teacher's to know about everything" Kongpob explained looking straight at his husband's eyes. Arthit sighed, he know that what Kong was telling is the truth. He gave King a sweet kiss before caressing his cheeks. "Ever thing will be fine Kong. Don't worry ,we will ask Aroon about it during dinner" Kongpob nodded and smiled hearing the suggestion. Arthit' then went upstairs to take a shower. He looked through Aroon's room before going to his room. He saw Aroon was looking into a book and was studying, he smiled slyly before going to do his duties.
"So how was your day Aroon? Was it good?" Arthit asked when they were settled for eating. Both Arthit and Kongpob saw the discomfort in Aroon's eyes when they mentioned of school. "I was nice Daddy" Aroon said looking at his dad and smiling. "Aroon, son, you know that you can tell anything that bothers to us. We are your parents Aroon, don't keep anything in mind. Parents can help you everything more than others son" Kongpob said concerned and held Aroon's hand in his. Kongpob's heart ached and shakes as he saw Aroon uncomfortably moving when Kong touched. He quickly moved his hand away and smiled to cover up the overwhelming feeling in him. "You know that Daddy and Mommy love you right Aroon? Please tell us anything you want to son" Kongpob said as he wants to speak to his son. It's rare now a days for Aroon to speak with him. Aroon looked up and forced a smile "Yes Mommy, I will "Aroon said and continued to eat. Arthit and Kongpob knew that it was a forced smile that appeared in Aroon's face. Arthit and Kongpob looked at each other, Kongpob had a worried expression on his face. Arthit' smiled slyly and held his husband's hand under the table to assure everything."Mommy, Daddy can I ask you something?" Aroon asked when he was in the middle of eating. Arthit and Kongpob looked at each other and happily nodded to their son, not knowing what he was going to tell. "Yes son, what is it?" Aroon was confused for a while to whether ask them or not. Anyway he took a deep breath and asked
"Mommy, Daddy; where is my real Mommy? Where is she?"........
