CHAPTER 20

"Mommy, Daddy where is my real Mommy, where is she?" 

Aroon's words stuck in Arthit and Kongpob's heart like swords. Moe over than Arthit Kongpob felt he never existed here. "What are you talking son? I am here, your mommy is here. Right P'Arthit?" Kongpob said in a voice from which we could clearly see that he is trying to control his tear. Arthit nodded quickly "Yes Aroon, your mommy is here then why are you asking this. What made you think that Kong is not your mommy honey?" Arthit asked his son softly, Kongpob looked at Aroon with sadness in his eyes. 

Aroon gulped his saliva and nervously looked at his Mommy and Daddy. He sighed "Daddy don't lie to me, I am adopted right?" Aroon as straight forward. Arthit and Kongpob gasped. "What are you saying Aroon? How can you be adopted? Your mommy had given you birth and that's makes it sure that you are not adopted. And from where did you get this thought suddenly? What happened to you Aroon?" Arthit answered with half calmness and half angry. Aroon stood up from his chair and shouted "How can that be possible Daddy???!!! Mommy is not a woman to give birth he is a man. All my friends are teasing me because of this!!!! Why am I the only one to get this bullying??!!" Aroon said raising his voice along with tears flowing down his cheeks.

Arthit quickly stood up from his place, angry. "Stop Aroon!! You are talking nonsense" Arthit spoke it out. This was the first time he got this angry at Aroon. Aroon looked at Arthit with teary eyes an then at Kongpob. "Why Daddy? Why should I stop? I am telling the truth!! Why is P'Chai and P'Nai are adopted Daddy?? Their parents are also like how I have then why are they adopted??? You guys are lying to me I know!!! I am adopted, I want to see my who is my real Mommy, only that I ask for!!" Aroon shouted. Arthit was stunned but Kongpob kept quite looking at his son without even blinking. "Aroon stop!!! You are wrong son!!! I and Kongpob are your parents. Kong gave you birth, your mommy gave you birth!!" Arthit said looking at Aroon calmly. 

Aroon looked at Kongpob "No!! Then why is my Mommy a man? It should be a woman!! Every one of my friends are having woman as their Mommy but me.........I have a man, why so Daddy??!!" Aroon asked back shouting. Arthit lost all his limits, "AROON ENOUGH!!! Get BACK TO YOUR ROOM NOW!!! You have class tomorrow, go back and sleep" Arthit said angrily. Aroon looked at Arthit with sad and then looked at Kongpob coldly and ran upstairs crying.

Arthit looked at Kongpob who was looking at the place where Aroon was standing without blinking his eyes. There were no tears in his eyes, his expression was blank and his face pale. Arthit went near Kongpob and sat beside him. He placed his hand on his husband's shoulder. "Kong" he called softly. Kongpob looked at Arthit and tears started to form in his eyes. He hugged his P tightly and cried. Arthit didn't know what to do, he hugged his love back and hushed him. "I knew this P!..... I knew this, I was afraid of the same thing. I always prayed that this would never happen to Aroon but.....but" Kongpob cried harder. Arthit's tears fell silently. Arthit quickly wiped his tears ;he knew that he shouldn't be weak now, he had to be bold for his love to share all his worries. The always brave and smart Kongpob who will always be bold with his emotions would only crack down when two persons are the reasons for it and Arthit knew who was that. It was himself and their precious son.

Kongpob was laying on Arthit's lap in their room. Arthit caressed his love's hair assuring him everything would be fine. "Why P? Haven't I been a good Mother? Haven't I cared for Aroon as how he had expected? Is he that feeling disgusted of me to look into my eyes coldly P?" Kongpob asked his P after a long pause. Arthit looked at Kong and made him sit straight. He held his Kong's cheeks in his hands and looked directly into his eyes. "No Kong, don't ever think like that. You are the best mother anyone could have. You being not a woman don't make you a bad mother Kong." Kongpob's tears fell from his eyes which was already swollen from crying. Arthit kissed Kongpob's soft lips to assure everything would be fine. "Don't worry love. Everything would be fine. Aroon doesn't mean anything what he said. He is just telling what his friends have told him for teasing nothing more, okay?" Kongpob nodded. Arthit kissed him again and made him lay down to sleep. Kongpob's head was on Arthit's chest. Arthit caressed his love's hair feeling the softness.

 "P, we have to meet Aroon's teachers and inform that Aroon is getting bullied, I dont want this to be continued P" Kongpob said suddenly, Arthit looked at Kongpob who was only looking the hand that Arthit placed on his. "Yeah, we will Kong" Arthit replied. Kongpob hugged Arthit tighter and closed his eyes, trying to sleep. After a few minutes both of them slept thinking what would the next day bring to them as a challenge.
