“We will be landing soon, Miss Johnson.” The flight attendant told me with a polite smile.
I gave her a nod. “Thank you.” I said before looking out the window. From Los Angeles to Japan, huh? I wonder what my dad did this time to have us move. I thought as I glanced at my dad. I wanted to ask him why we were moving to Japan, but he never answered me truthfully. He would either ignore the question or tell me an obvious lie.
“Dad, why did we move away from our home?” I asked, deciding to just ask.
He looked at me, sighing. “Emily, this is our new home now!”
I rolled my eyes. “Tch.” I grumbled in annoyance. “Yeah right. What did you do this time? Try to cheat someone out in the deal? Or kill the supplier?” I asked.
He looked at me in shock before looking back at his newspaper. I looked back out the window, rolling my eyes. He really thought that I didn’t know what he did for a living. He thought I was in the dark, but he was dead wrong. I knew about everything he was doing, and I knew all about the sins he was creating. Even though he was my father, I hated people like him. People who get everything handed to them on a silver platter while other people had to fight for just basic things. People like my father did bad things and they got away with it while nothing bad happened to them! It sickened me.
I gripped the arm rest of my seat tightly, my anger boiling by the second. There was no justice in this world.
I was brought out of my thoughts when the flight attendant went up to me and my dad. “We have landed. Welcome to Japan!”

Today was my first day at my new school. I was so excited! ... Not. School was such a waste of time. I didn’t like it. Don’t get me wrong, in my old school I was always on top, always number one in the school, but I just don’t like going to school. I already knew everything they had to teach, so why keep going?
I ran the brush through my hair one last time before looking in the mirror to see if it looked good. I nodded in approval, grabbing my backpack and a banana before heading to school. I didn’t say a goodbye to anyone, because I knew my dad wasn’t even home. He was never home, I practically lived on my own for the most part.
I walked silently, eating my banana as I took in my surroundings. Wow, this place wasn’t that bad. It actually reminded me a bit of Los Angeles, but just a bit. Still, I don’t think I would mind living here.
I was too busy staring at all the buildings and all the scenery that I bumped into someone in front of me. I looked up as he turned around. I didn’t show it on my face, but I only had two words for this boy: MAJOR HOTTIE! This guy was beyond handsome! And he had a uniform similar to mine, which meant we probably went to the same school.
“Oh, I’m very sorry.” I apologized, bowing slightly. That’s what they did in Japan right?
He smiled politely at me. “It’s all right. I wasn’t exactly paying attention myself.” He said. Oh my god, his voice was even sexy! He took notice in my uniform before looking up at me. “It seems that we go to the same school.” He pointed out. “But I have never seen you before.”
I nodded. “Yeah, today’s my first day. I just moved here from Los Angeles.” I told him.
“Oh really? That’s very fascinating. How’s it like over there?” He asked with a smile still on his face.
