Even though I slept at Light's house last night, I still had to collect if Yori wanted to exist. So, when everybody was asleep, I climbed out of Sayu's bedroom window and went to do the collection. I stayed out almost all night, so when I got back to Light's house, it was almost 4:30 am. I immediately changed back into the pajamas Sayu let me borrow and fell to sleep, exhausted from tonight's work as Yori.

I was in the middle of an amazing sleep when Sayu's alarm clock went off at 6:30 am. I groaned, pulling the pillow over my head. No! Not now! I only had 2 hours of sleep!

Sayu yawned as she sat up and stretched out her arms. "Emily," She said tiredly. "Time to get up."

I groaned. "Five more minutes..." I grumbled, bringing the blanket closer. Suddenly I felt cold air as Sayu ripped the blankets off my body. My body shivered in disapproval. "Ugh, fine. I'm up!" I groaned before getting up and going to the bathroom.

After I finished getting ready for school, I headed downstairs, seeing all the Yagami family sitting and eating breakfast. "Good morning." I greeted.

"Good morning, dear." Mrs. Yagami responded, smiling. "Would you like some cereal?"

"Yes, please." I answered with a smile of my own. She gave me a bowl and handed me the cereal box.

"How did you sleep, Emily?" Light's father asked.

"Not that great. I think it's because I am so used to my own bed that it is hard to sleep somewhere else." I lied, giggling slightly.

"Well, maybe you can sleep over more often so you can get used to it!" Sayu suggested. I merely ruffled her hair with a smile as a response.

The TV had been on while we were eating breakfast. I guessed Mr. Yagami liked to watch the news before work. "In other news," The news reporter started. "In the past week, several homes have woken up to something strange at their door." He stated. "Mizuki Sato has the story."

The man was replaced on a screen to a woman who was in front of one of the neighborhoods I visited. I had to hold back a smirk as they showed the neighbors with cash. Kira will see what Yori has done for him. He will have to look for Yori after he sees this.

"Over the last two nights, two neighbors both woke up to having money and luxurious items at their front door. But that is not the only thing that these neighborhoods have in common. Both of this neighborhoods suffer from poverty and they both had a message to come along with gifts.

"The name Yori was written on pieces of paper and placed in front of each and every day. The word Yori means 'servant of the public'. However, this is not the only bizarre thing about this event. Right before this neighborhood woke up to the items, a burglary was reported from a different part of town. The call was from Ms. Amay Fukui. Ms. Fukui had been arrested last year for gambling, stealing, and bootlegging, but she was released for not having enough evidence against her.

"Ms. Fukui said in the call that she got home and saw her room was destroyed with most of her money and luxuries gone. In addition, the name 'Yori' was painted on her wall with red painting."

It took everything in me not to smirk. It's only a matter of time before Kira finds out about Yori, and when that happens, I want to be front and center.

"Wow!" Sayu said. "Yori sounds like Robin Hood! You know, from the fairytales."

"Yes, but this is no fairytale, Sayu." Light said. "Yori is a criminal. This person steals from other people, which is a crime. Yori deserves to be behind bars."

My heart sunk into my stomach as I balled up my fists. Light's words stung badly, and I didn't understand why. Maybe it was because he was my best friend, and his support was important to me. Even if that was the case, my heart hurt way too much for that reason to be valid.
