Walking into school the next Monday was strange. Our game was coming up quick. And my head was in the clouds when it came to everything around me. Until I walked down the hallway towards my locker and everybody stopped dead in the tracks and the whole place got eerily quiet.

Knitting my brows together I walked towards my locker, trying to meet eyes with anyone that was looking at me. But once my eyes landed on somebody, they turned away or ducked their heads down.

Now I was getting nervous, I pulled the bag higher over my shoulder before I made the final turn on my locker and then stopped dead in my tracks.

It was like seeing the world from the outside of your body. Time had almost stopped. My bag slowly fell off my shoulders falling to the ground with a low thud. my mouth tried to fall open but I was quick to stop it. The colour melting away from my face.

In front of me, was a row of blue lockers, one of which that I called my own, locker number 834 was spray painted with six, big, bold, red letters the bled down into each other and the paint dripped down from letter to letter.

FAGGOT

The words burned into my eyes. Nobody moved around me as I moved closer to my locker, my heart pounding a mile a minute.

"Alright, alright. Nothing to see here. Move along!" I heard somebody shouting, I expected it to be a teacher, to be honest. But was more than surprised to see Night ushering people away from the hallways with the help from Liam and Abdul. Abdul was helping Night shoo people away with a look on his face that would render people dead if looks could kill, while Liam walked up to me, putting an arm over my shoulder. An arm that I didn't really feel due to the fact my whole body had gone into a state of shock and everything felt numb.

He started talking to me but I couldn't hear him. My breathing started getting harder, heavier. A weight was forming on my chest. My eyes wouldn't tear away from the locker. The locker that was haunting me. My mind racing with questions.

How? Why? Who?

Henry wouldn't tell anybody. Harmony isn't malicious enough to do this after a breakup. Night seemed just as shocked as I am.

Who knew.

Who was out to get me?
