Vik woke up relatively quickly. All Seto had to do was cast an anti-burn spell and he was good, Lachlan on the other hand... Hm.

'Four days, Seto, surely he should be awake by now?' Vik was pacing around that area of the infirmary, occasionally looking over as if he would wake up that instant. All the sorcerer could really do was shrug, though he was beginning to look a bit concerned too.

'I mean, I could try a spell to wake him up, but I don't know what that would do. You're right though, he should be up.'

Damnit, Lachlan, wake up.

Think I'm not trying?

The Boralinian practically choked, earning a judgemental look from Seto as he stared at his blond friend. 'Seto, do the spell.'

'What?'

'He physically can't wake up! He's trying, but he can't. Do the spell.'

'If you say so.'

Lachy, we're gonna try and get you to wake up.

Great. It's dark in here, and this thing's been staring at me for I don't know how long.

As violet particles seemed to sink into the Astralan's body, nothing happened for a few moments. Vik frowned slightly, while Seto just raised an eyebrow and sighed. 'It didn't work.He has to wake up in his own-'

Lachlan suddenly lurched forwards, gasping for air as Vik and Seto jumped back. 'Poselia- I almost had a heart attack!'

'Lachlan, Lachlan, you're okay! Breathe, it's alright. You're safe.'
The prodigy's eyes seemed unfocused, almost dazed, with fear sparking dangerously around the iris.
'Woah Lachy, it's okay. It's me, Vik, remember?' The Boralin muttered, taking one of Lachlan's raised hands in his own and bringing it down. 'Sh, it's okay, don't panic; you're safe.'
'V-Vik?'

'Yeah, it's me. We're at the castle, okay? In the medical bay.' Why Lachlan was so panicked, neither Vik nor Seto could understand, but being the goof friend that he was Vik didn't pry. That didn't mean he wasn't curious, though.

'Oh, oh Lords, Vik I-I'm so, so sorry! If I, if I'd-'

'If this is about the fireball thing, then you don't need to be sorry. You saved me multiple times, alright?'

While all he did was nod, the Astralan did seem to calm down a bit. 'So...you're not m-mad?'

'Why would I be mad?'

He didn't say anything at first, keeping ahold of Vik's hand (c'mon, you think either of them wanted to let go? Seriously?) and stared through the window opposite of his temporary bed.

'Because I couldn't save you. Because of my mum, because of who I am!' Seto narrowed his eyes, confused as the keeper wracked his brains to try and find out what his younger friend meant.

'Lachy, I don't understand.'

'It-It's okay.'

'I mean, it's not really, but okay. D'you want anything now you're awake? Food, water, anything like that.'

'Are the boys okay?'

Typical Lachlan, caring about others more than his own state. This guy seriously needs a hug or something.

I mean, if the offer's standing.

Y'know what? Yeah. C'mere.

Opening his arm up, the Boralinian pulled the blond into his chest and held him tightly. Cue more internal screaming, 'cause oh my Lords he's shaking so much.
