"We all might be more alike than I originally thought."
Ryuji's sudden comment stopped the other two, their bowl of ramen still in their hands as they attempted to quickly slurp up the noodles before they could get too soggy.
After the invasion of Kamoshida's sick and distorted heart, the three decided to go to 'Ogikubo', or 'Ramen Town'. The place wasn't that far from Shinjuku and was in a relatively quiet part of Tokyo.
As the nickname ramen town would suggest, it's ramen was out of this world.
Never in Suzuki's sixteen years would he have expected to see himself with a group of friends, telling their life stories and eating ramen. But that was exactly what they were doing.
Akira gently set his bowl onto the table as he turned his head towards Ryuji. "What did you do?" He questioned, referring to the earlier statement of the dyed blond haired boy.
"I don't got a record like you do, or a traumatic past like Naka..." Ryuji started as he turned his head towards his growing soggy bowl of noodles. He had been doing the most talking out of everyone. "I guess it's how we're treated like a pain in the ass by people around us, like we don't belong."
Ryuji paused and slurped up his noodles.
"I did something stupid in school once as well." He finished the rest of the bowl in no time flat. Shoveling the noodles into his mouth before swallowing them all, Suzuki wasn't sure if he was supposed to be impressed or disturbed by the sight.
It would soon be Suzuki's chance to talk. He had finished his ramen, taking the time to carefully eat and savor the taste, he wouldn't be sure when the next time he could have such a great meal would be.
"I think it's because we are so similar that we have been granted that...power." He pointed out, referring to the personas all three boys now possessed.
Ryuji nodded his head in agreement. "Yea, I don't think it's somethin' everyone just gets." A grin found its way onto Ryuji's face as he looked back at the two black haired boys that had accompanied him during their snack.
"Well, all that doesn't matter, from no on, I got your guys back and you've both got mine." Akira simply nodded, showing his approval of the situation.
For the next thirty-six minutes, the trio continued to talk. Seeing as the three of them had a newfound ability, they couldn't leave each other alone. Instead, they decided to create a brotherhood; it would be something that said they always had one another's back.
For Suzuki, it was something special.
Suzuki's thoughts had been clouded as he watched as Akira caught the train back to Yongeon-Jaya, where he temporarily resided in "Cafe Leblanc". Ryuji has been standing next to the abused black haired male as they both waved him goodbye.
Silence filled the air as Suzuki and Ryuji stood next to one another in the empty train station. Although Suzuki was a few centimeters shorter than Ryuji, he could feel his familiar warmth radiating off his body. It somehow reminded him of the good ol' days; their prime and youthful days.
While he could never admit it, he had secretly missed those days of summer joy. But Kamoshida had taken even that away for him. His jaw tensed in anger at the thought of the shithead, self-proclaimed King.
Almost as if he knew exactly what he was thinking, Ryuji wrapped his arm around Suzuki's neck, pulling him into an unfamiliar bro hug. "We'll make that bastard pay." He grumbled as Suzuki leaned into his side.
Again, their thoughts seemed to align.
Suzuki didn't say anything as he fished his phone out of his school uniform pocket. "We need to finish Kamoshita quickly." He mumbled as he typed in his phone's passcode with ease. Ryuji simply kept his arm draped over his shoulder, eyeing his phone curiously.
"If we wait, he'll find something to blackmail us with." Suzuki pointed out as he opened up the LINE app, before clicking a few more buttons. "He always does..." He mentioned darkly. He created a group chat that considered himself, Ryuji and Akira.
Along with their newfound brotherhood, the trio had decided to defeat the bastard Kamoshida. While the game plan was still majorly in the works, it was better than nothing. Using the little information they had gained from their beloved cat friend, Suzuki would be able to think of something worthwhile.
Ryuji nodded as Suzuki typed away on his keyboard.

@ SUZUKI: Tomorrow's the big day.
@ SUZUKI: During the rally, I'll sneak into the Student Council's office. If we can at least find some of those guys, we'll be a sneak closer to ending that bastard.

Ryuji's phone seemed to vibrate wildly each time Suzuki pressed the send button. Above them, the familiar female voice came from overhead, announcing that Ryuji's subway was coming up next.
"I'll catch ya' tomorrow, Naka." Ryuji smiled as he messed up his hair as a goodbye, before hopping onto the train
Now alone, Suzuki fixed his hair before turning on his heels before taking a seat on a nearby bench. He would make the most of his time playing on his phone. He was already nervous for tomorrow.
