"Everyone disappeared...!"
As Ryuji entered the keyword, there was an instant change in atmosphere. Although they were in a busy station, everyone who had been standing around before had faded away into nothingness. They were somehow alone.
Suzuki rushed to his feet and looked around with the rest.
"Uh...It...kinda feels like I'm walking on air...?" He commented. Just like the other's, he was more than confused.
Ryuji looked towards Morgana. "Is this that Nakanohara guy's palace?" He questioned, hoping that the feline had some type of answer for him. Morgana gave a slight nod as he looked around as well.
"That's half right, but half wrong." He began. "This is a type of palace, but it's different from the normal ones." Morgana explained.
Morgana jumped from the ledge he had been laying on. "Come on, let's head down. The shadows here lurk underground." He, once again, led them.
"I don't quite understand why." Morgana admitted as they descended down the stairs. "It may be because they're drawn to something." Although, he didn't exactly know himself.
It wasn't too much trouble to go down the stairs. Afterall, it was a very familiar path for them all. They climbed down the stairs and walked past the card scanner, and that was when everything changed.
It wasn't the normal train station that they had all come to know.
Red and black spots covered his eyes as the atmosphere changed once again. Suzuki could definitely feel it now. Although he wasn't too sure how deep it ran, there was definitely something down there lurking for them.
"The hell is this place...?" Ryuji's voiced out the question they all had in their minds.
The blond turned the group before jumping backwards a bit. "Wait, our clothes changed!" He exclaimed. Suzuki looked down. He was right!
His school uniform had been replaced with the black rebellious suit he had come to love.
"The shadows know we're here?" Ann questioned as she turned towards Morgana, confused and concerned just like the rest of them. Akira and Suzuki turned their heads as well.
Morgana nodded and crossed his lil' feline arms. "Since the moment we came in." He stated matter of factly.
"You should've told us!" Ryuji hissed in a whisper. Now that he knew, he couldn't help but be a bit more quiet. There was no telling when one of them might've attacked.
"We're still safe right here." Morgana added. "I've investigated a number of times. Shadows next come onto this floor." He concluded.
It was somewhat reassuring that Morgana did do some research sometimes. Although Suzuki didn't always trust his words, it was undeniable that he had the most experience with these things.
