Kai and Storm Vs Star

Kai POV~
"Ice make: Lance!" Storm didn't waste any time attacking the girl. But of course like every other enemy we face the first spell doesn't hit. I requip into my flight armour wanting to end this as quick as possible. We have to get to Natsu and Lucy before something horrible happens to them. she blocks all of my attacks with the same speed and a lot more grace. She fights like she's dancing, with twists and turns and jumps and dips. she definitely would have made a better dancer than a bad guy. "Alright, we're clearly not getting anywhere with this so you might as well tell us what's going on". I kept my guard up as she explained that Natsu and Lucy were needed for a ritual. a ritual to resurrect the dark wizard Zeref so he can grant their wishes. "look lady, I hate to break it to you, but Zeref was a dark mage. Not a wish granting genie".

she shook her head, dismissing what I said. "you're wrong. in the book of Zeref, it is said that he could conjure anything. meaning if we ask him for something, he can give it to us" seriously? and you have to summon Zeref back for this? "what could you possibly want that you can't just go to a store to buy?" She smiled sweetly before replying "I'm afraid that's none of your business. Now if we're done talking, I'd like to get back to business. and I think its about time I showed you my magic". Her whole body began to glow a faint gold before she took a deep breath and chanted "Celestial dragon..." She's a fricking dragon slayer?! "roar!!" a mist like the night sky, with hundreds of specks of gold, looking like almost like stars, launches at us. I quickly requip to my adamantine armour and use the shield to protect me and Storm from the blast. She looked shocked to see we were unharmed when I dropped my shield. "how?!" she exclaimed. "we literally know 12 dragon slayers. 7 of them are in our guild, we're pretty used to the attacks by now. Quite a lot of your spells are very similar". Storm deadpanned. its not untrue, there's Natsu, Laxus, Gajeel, Wendy, Nashi, Nova and Gale in our guild, Sting, Rogue, Elias and Suki at Sabertooth, and Cobra of crime sorciere. Damn we know a lot of dragon slayers, not so rare anymore huh.

"Even so, you've never met a dragon slayer like me before. obviously I'm a celestial dragon slayer, so anything celestial gives me a power boost. But nothing gives me a power boost quite like celestial keys" celestial keys? what's that supposed to mean? does she drain their magic or something? "yes there's nothing like the taste of a celestial key, especially the gold ones. I almost got the key for Scorpio y'know? too bad I only got a little lick" wait? she eats celestial keys to get power?! Luke would freak if he knew about this. "so what happens to the spirit if you eat their key?!" I demand. she just smiles and says "they disappear" my eyes widen and I see Storm boiling with rage. "so you just take an innocent spirits life just to feel power?! what kind of monster are you?!" Storm bolts at her in a full on sprint, a sword of ice forming in his hands as he runs. "I'm gonna make you pay for every spirit you've ever taken! and the pain you caused their wizards! Ice make: Excalibur!".

Storm brings the sword down on the girl. she blocks but he manages to slice her shoulder a little. "seems I underestimated your power. I'll have to get a little more violent" she gathers a ball of black as night magic above her head then slams it to the floor. Pillars of black with specks of gold shoot up all over the place. Storm and I struggle to not get hit by the rapid fire blasts, unfortunately we both get blasted. "damn it...that hurt" we try to stand but she doesn't give us a chance "Celestial dragon Eta claw!" The girl coats her fists and arms in navy blue magic with bright, glowing stars. She attacks by punching us repeatedly, her punches seem to get stronger with each successive strike. the pain radiates through my body, and I can imagine Storm feels the same. This chicks power is no joke. It's a good thing there's nothing celestial around here, Luke's gone ahead so his keys are safe, and we're deep underground. "Celestial dragon flail!" the girl channels her magic unto her hands, forming a spherical concentration of navy blue magic with bright glowing stars. What looks like chains extend from the robs on her hands and wrap themselves around us. She throws us around, smashing us into the walls, ceiling and floor. by the time she's done, we're barely conscious, lying still as the stone floor. "*sigh* you guys really wore me out, I mean I overdid it with the magic so I'm a little tired" she takes a few steps towards us until she's towering over our still bodies. "well you guys weren't completely boring, you put up a good fight, you even went as far as threatening me. but I'm afraid you have to die now" Storm chuckles and her face turns to one of confusion. "die? I don't think so" we push ourselves to our feet, fighting the pain telling us to just lay there. "we don't plan on dying today lady. We got friends to bring home. Besides, I said I'd make you pay for all the pain and suffering you caused" we cracked our knuckles and readied ourselves. "oh yeah, we're fired up now" Storm says with a smirk.

"awww using your girlfriends catchphrase? you really are in love Stormy" Storm blushes crimson and tells me to shut up. "Doesn't make it any less true though, so lets ice this chick!" bad pun I know. We synchronize our attacks and manage to get her to her knees, with her using all her magic power up with her earlier attacks it was much easier. Suddenly, as we're about to deal the final blow, a blast of gold shoots out from her and pushes us back a couple of inches. "NO! I refuse to be denied my wish! I refuse to let my siblings suffer anymore! all I ever wanted was to take them away from this! from HIM! So I took whatever power I could get to free us! but it was never enough! It's never enough! Dragon slayer secret art: Celestial dragon spatial void: dark matter!!". She coats both hands in what looks like the night sky and claps her hands together. This causes an explosion, reminiscent of a pitch black sky, that acts similarly to a cross between Nashis brilliant flame attack and Roses Altairis spell. "Ice make: sphere!" Storm creates a ball of ice around her, using all his strength to keep the explosion in. It isn't quite strong enough and the blast throws us back a little bit, but doesn't really damage us as much as it did her. when the smoke clears, we see her lying there, staring up at the ceiling, tears streaming down her face.

I kneel down next to her and wipe her tears with a handkerchief I always keep just incase Sylvia or Rose needs it. "you said you wanted to free yourself and your siblings from him? would this him happen to be Hunter?" She slowly nods, more tears fall. "Hunter has our friends too. help us get them back, and we can help free you and your siblings" she looks at me with total shock "but I just tried to kill you! and you're offering to help me?!" I nod my head and smile "of course. I'd hate it if my sister were ever in a situation that made her miserable. I'm more than happy to help siblings who need it, on one condition" she sat up and gave me her full attention, a silent urge to continue. "you admit to the celestial spirit king about EVERY spirit you killed" she looked scared but a greed nonetheless. i held out my hand to help her up "I'm Kai, and that's Storm" he waves and she shakes my hand once she's stood "I'm Star".

Damn...its been a while....anyway. I know when Lucy broke Aquarius' key she didn't disappear. but a little bit of her key was left, so I'm just gonna say that when a key completely disappears, so does the spirit.
