Dominik's POV
I'm standing at the alter with my head up and my shoulders back, I could feel my confidence radiating off of me. She is late and I am  starting to worry but no one seems to notice.
All the women are staring at me like Cupid just struck them with his bow and arrow and all the men are looking at their wives, jealousy plastered on their faces.
I know I'm gorgeous but come on, show some respect, this is my wedding.
Suddenly the cathedral doors swung open and excitement filled the atmosphere as the people waited impatiently for the arrival of my bride. They all probably assume that my wife is just as beautiful as me which, of course, she is.
Once the symphony began playing
their piece I tune out everyone around me. All I can hear is the music and all I can see is Evangeline.
She is shyly walking down the aisle with her beautiful honey blonde waves shrouding the view of her face. My eyes traveled further down her body. Her wedding dress suits her perfectly and compliments her curves in all the right places. Her shoulders are bare as lace off the shoulder sleeves wrap her delicate arms.
It was as though the gods made her for me and, only, me. She only looked up at me when we stood face to face on the alter.
She slightly smiles at me and I can't help but smile back. That's when her smile grew reaching her eyes. She looks even more beautiful when she smiles.
If my heart could still beat I am sure that it would be pounding inside my chest just as hers is.
The ceremony flew by because all my attention is focused on her. I analyzed her, breathed in her intoxicating scent, and I imagined myself doing things to her, things that no one should think about in church.
We exchanged our wedding lines and her voice still rang in my ears for the rest of the ceremony. Finally, the moment everyone is  waiting for, the ring.
I, of course, being the groom, do not receive a wedding ring. But, according to tradition, the bride is always given one. I choose one made of pure gold with a large princess cut diamond in the center which was surrounded by smaller diamonds.
If it was any other woman they would be disappointed by simplicity of it but I know she isn't like that. I watch her reaction and it's exactly as expected. She has a wide smile on her face as she examines her ring finger with those glittering green eyes.
I extend my hand and walk her down the aisle. We headed back to my home in the same carriage she arrived in.
"So...what now?" She asks whilst playing with her ring.
"Do you like it?" I ask pointing to the ring, I know she does but I want her to say it.
"Y-yes very much so." She looks up at me and we stare into each other's eyes. I could hear her heart quickening.
"Do you like me?" I can't have her hating me that just wouldn't do. I need to gain her trust that way it could be easier to protect her from that demon.
"I don't know." She answers looking out the carriage window.
"Well I like you."
