Fifteen days and Nik hasn't even been seen anywhere in his own home. I can't help but feel responsible for it and if it was two months ago I would have already ran away from this mansion.

I've been eating the bare minimum because Vera has quite literally shoved food in mouth to keep me from starving myself. I hate her sometimes...can't she just let me die.

I'm siting on his stupid nap bench just waiting for him to come around like a stray dog without a bone. I fiddle with the pearls on my bracelet as I find my eyelids dropping.

I'm so tired. Why are my eyes so heavy all of a sudden? I close them quickly but a pair of strong hands grab ahold of me as I fall from the bench.

Dominik? I think it's him...wait this is not him. I don't know why but I can tell, I think as I slip into the lonely abyss of slumber.

May 29, 1813

I woke up sometime yesterday in this unfamiliar room without a single window. But it's way too high for me to see through or jump out of. There isn't any furniture in here either and the walls are painted a plain beige tone that gets boring just staring at.

I can tell the time of day by the light that shines through the window but that's about it. I'm starting to question if I'm even alive anymore. I haven't eaten in days so I could possibly be dead.

Is this some type of purgatory? I think as my stomach grumbles...if I'm dead and I'm hungry then I must be in hell.

Wait what am I even saying? I need to find a way out and this door won't budge. It's huge and I can tell it's made of a heavy wood, the woodwork on it is insane though. I applaud the carver who made it.

I trace my fingers over the outline of the wooden roses and vines as I make my way to the sunflowers. Just then the door swings open and hits me square in the face.

I stumble and land on my bum all while shooting daggers at the man in front of me.

"Your presence has been requested." He hisses grabbing my forearm forcefully.

"Let go of me! You baboon, you're breaking my arm!" I yell at him.

"Baboon? Are you fooling with me or are you just that childlike." The tall man in military uniform rolls his eyes and drags me through unknown hallways. Everything around me is grand and the crazy part is that it's even more beautiful than Nik's home.

We pass through these giant doors and I instantly know where we are. The disgusting man lounging on a golden throne is more than enough to suggest that I'm in the royal palace.

This castle is just as extra as it's king I think, looking at the banners and flags hanging from the deep purple walls. I stare at the suits of armors aligned along the walls, three on each side and realize that there are actual people inside of them.

"Leviticus... thank you for bringing her to me." I look up at the man who's still griping my forearm.

I shake myself out of his grasp and he finally lets go, only to walk up to the ruthless King and take a seat on the right of him.

Who is that guy... you know what I don't care. I briskly turn and sprint to the doors only for my exit to be blocked by the lances of two of the knights in armor.
