Future vs Past

There was something strange in the air.

I woke up without no recall of what I was doing here in the past.

I went to Chris who had been given a new charge.

Their sexual tension clearly affecting me making Chris amused as soon as he noticed my discomfort

"What are we doing here, Chris?" I asked watching his charge named Natalie pouring two drinks.

We were at his room at the P3, myself having just beamed inside when Natalie was at the bathroom.

"You know what? I forgot" Chris told me accepting Natalie's drink. She gave me one with a smile. I accepted it. "But, I'm having fun. Being here when the world isn't as messed up as in our future is for once relaxing"

I completely agreed with that, nodding "Yeah. I think I'll follow your lead"

Chris smiled, pointing at me "Yes. Just let go, Bree. You're on your way already"

I hadn't realized I had already drank half the glass, smiling. I raised my glass and we raised them up, drinking the rest

"It's been a while since I had fun and you two just have given me a head start..." I smiled mischievously, my own excitement growning with their own as they started kissing, "Thanks for that. See you soon"

"Be careful Bree" Chris said pulling away and giving me a slightly worried look. "You're still my baby cousin and I'd hate to see something happening to you"

"Use protection sweetheart" Natalie winked

I immediately backed away, not wanting to broadcast what they were feeling, giggling.

I was right. It was the night I had been more carefree since a while as I danced away with some guys and girls.

I was grinning in ecstasy, passing my hands through my hair and upwards as I danced, my eyes glowing pink once in a while attracting people to me, the light vanishing as one walked closer, starting to kiss.

Being a cupid had it's advantages, but I couldn't help but feel guilty using it to lead people straight to me. I was using my powers for personal gain...

But, another voice in my head taunted me, you aren't using your witchy powers, Parker. These are your cupid powers and I had all right to enjoy them

"Bree!" The guy was pulled away from me making me look up at the culprit in annoyance

"Leo" I crossed my arms. Great. Even in the past, one of my uncles are Killjoys. "What brings you by?"

Leo lead me away from the dance floor, I was still slightly flustered but I managed to block away all the horny feelings.

Leo noticed my change, crossing his arms frowning "You were using your powers back there"

I fidgeted, awkwardly "Not really. Sometimes they get out of hand and can't control them. Don't let my performance since we met fool you. It's the longest I had been without losing control" I explained quickly.

Leo sighed, uncrossing his arms. Good. My cupid half was still safe. Hopefully it'll stay that way "You shouldn't be out here then if you are struggling"

I scowled, "I can manage enough control to not react. I'm not like Phoebe. I don't need to be locked down like she does"

Leo shook his head, "I wasn't here for that anyway"
