As soon as Piper left to find her sisters I quickly walked away to the attic to look on the Book.

I wasn't even inside when orbs appeared in front of me stopping me from walking as a serious Chris stood with crossed arms blocking my way

"Do you mind?" I asked sweetly, trying to walk past him only to have Chris block my way stepping aside in front of me. I tried the other way but he again moved aside blocking my way. I groaned annoyed "What?"

"You are supposed to be my charge. No family connections remember?" Chris raised his eyebrows annoyed.

I threw my hands up in exasperation "What did you want me to say? 'Yes, We're dating. Step away from him'?"

Chris narrowed his eyes "Not that either. Something more along the lines of 'A Whitelighter can't date his charge so no'.'

I let out a sarcastic laugh "Pretty sure Piper and Leo broke those rules. Specially in our family"

Chris didn't find anything amusing on my rambling "They don't know. Their case is special remember?" I scowled "Bree. Work with me, please. If they find out who we are to them the future will be screwed up instead of being safe like we wanted, so... Keep your hostility against Phoebe at bay"

I crossed my arms, sighing. "I can't help it. Just like you can't help how you act around Leo"

Chris rubbed his forehead, his shoulders deflating in defeat. I knew he had a lot on his shoulders. He wanted the best for his family just like I with mine. This was our biggest sacrifice.

Being near family and not be able to cherish those moments as we were saving our world.

Such of a big burden to carry for a 22 year old and a 17 year old.

But it was in our genes. Helping. We were good. Our mothers taught us this. And it was in our legacy to be good and help others.

"Let's focus on helping them destroy the Titans first so we can do what we exactly came to do. Okay?" Chris opted for saying after a few seconds, eyes closed breathing a sigh.

I found myself nodding slowly. "Got it" I turned around "I'll go find Phoebe"

"The attic's this way" I looked over my shoulder seeing Chris' thumb pointing behind him, a knowing yet curious look on his face.

"I'm not scrying for Phoebe" I said, fingering the small silver pendant around my neck. "I know where she is right now"

Chris nodded slowly in understanding "So those work here?"

"Apparently" I replied walking away

"Don't let anyone see you, Bree" Chris warned me. "Specially Phoebe"

I waved my hand, showing him I understood before a hue pink light surrounded me before disappearing

The building I appeared at made my heart skip a beat due to the familiarity of it. I looked around pushing those feeling back down. I wasn't here to go down memory lane. I was here for Phoebe.

I shoved my hands to my jean jacket pockets, brushing my brown hair behind my ears taking a deep breath and walking inside to find the Goddess of Love, my breath hitching in my throat holding back a handful of swearing once I noticed the bar was full of people for an auction, a bachelor one at that.

My eyes scanned past all of the people for the auction, looking for the Goddess when a woman presented the bachelors, earning claps and whistles from the audience.

My hand clasped around my silver necklace tightened considerably seeing the lust stocked in each woman's face (in some men's as well) surrounding the podium once a man walked up onto stage.

My eyes closed shut tightly "Breath, Bree..." I urged myself, opening my eyes in alarm once I heard the sultry voice of Phoebe walking forward interrupting the biding of some women on this guy.

"One thousand dollars!"

Everyone, including myself turned to look at Phoebe as she walked down the stairs.

"Phoebe" The woman standing on the podium looked at Phoebe in surprise

I groaned in annoyance once I noticed all the males' stares were onto Phoebe as she walked through the crowd toward the stage, making a urge of protectiveness swell up in my chest making me glare at them. My eyes glowing a slight pink hue color, the color of half of those men mimicked the light before the lust faded away from their eyes.

The bachelor currently being auctioned, Evan stared at Phoebe memorized by her looks, raising a hand "Uh, can I bid on her?"

I facepalmed at Phoebe's slutty chuckle "If you insist"

"That isn't... This isn't... I don't really..." The woman stuttered eyeing Evan and Phoebe in disbelief

"I've got a ten thousand limit on my credit card" Evan said with a dizzy charming smile

The woman blinked in confusion, slowly nodding "Well, okay then"

"Oh, my god" I murmured to myself hearing men throwing out prices to get Phoebe on their hands.

Phoebe, in her enchanted and uncontrolled powers smiled pleasantly just like she did to Chris as she walked up toward the stage "Easy, boys, there's plenty to go around" she announced, making every man cheer.

My eyes widened. 'Oh, shit'

"Return them back, Phoebe Halliwell"

Phoebe's soft laughter stopped abruptly, pursing her lips looking at my cross armed stance blocking her way out of P3.

"Bree, Bree" Phoebe clicked her tongue a few times, elegantly rocking her finger back and forth and twirling her hair with her other hand. "There's nothing wrong on doing this sweetie. I'm having fun. Just like they will"

I cringed visibly. "Come on Phoebe. Don't let the power control you" I pleaded, eyeing the bachelors accompanying her. It made me sick how the power of love could be corrupted. I knew that very well

"I'm not letting it control me" Phoebe defended, a delicate frown pulling down her eyebrows "Now, if you excuse me future girl, my attention is needed by these nice gentlemen"

Phoebe waltzed past me, leaving me with a dumbfounded and hurtful expression though I tried to hide it as one of the bachelors locked his lustful eyes with me, the distinct pull of power surging through me and it only took a small ounce of concentration to send him away. It was one of the first tricks my dad had taught me and I was proud to see it go smoothly. It made me smile nostalgic thinking about my dad as the bachelor walked away confused.

Not knowing where my dad was at this time made my stomach twist uncomfortably as I knew neither my parents knew each other yet. And it had been a while now since I last saw my dad and I missed him. Phoebe's Goddess powers made me think of him as those powers and my dad's were slightly similar.

I sighed, pressing my hands over my temples soothing the now calm throbbing in my head as the strong natural power coming from Phoebe was fading with each step she made away from me.

"Chris will have my head in a silver plate" I murmured to myself, dropping my arms to my sides and shaking my head shoving my hands to my jacket, silently walking away from P3 doing my walk painfully slow as I didn't want to face Chris' furious wrath just yet
