"Did you make the potion correctly?"

I paused in my movements, frowning. "What?" I turned to Chris hearing his accusing tone. "I did it exactly like Jack told me to"

"Well, it's not working on me" Chris crossed his arms, "Phoebe just read me downstairs"

I shifted awkwardly, scratching the back of my neck and looking away "Oh, so that's what he meant..."

"Breana" Chris called out in warning.

I threw my hands up, "I swear I didn't know! Jack told me it didn't work on whitelighters. I thought he was joking. It did work on me, though"

"Of course it would" Chris sighed. "You were his crush"

I hid my blush, exhaling slowly "So, are you gonna then find those ingredients to make it the conventional way?"

Chris nodded, "Yeah. I have a few, in case this would have happened" he gave me a look, "Your little boyfriend didn't like me nor the whitelighters around you that much. I figured he'd do something like this"

"I'm sorry" I said sheepishly.

Chris waved a hand, "Don't worry. Not your fault. I'll be back though" He said before orbing away.

I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, looking back at the book of Shadows

I walked down the stairs, hearing the doorbell.

"I'll get it" I shouted so the sisters could hear, reaching the door and opening it. There was a man behind it, "Hello"

I tightened my grip on the door sensing some kind of lust but directed at someone behind me. I turned around to see Piper walking closer.

"Hey" The man smiled at Piper.

I backed away from the door, standing next to Phoebe "He likes her" I murmured at her

Phoebe looked at me with a look of realization, slowly starting to grin

"Hi" Piper smiled

Wow, you look great" The man complimented her, "I-I'm not surprised, that's just that you normally.."

"Oh, yeah, no bottle, no binky" Piper chuckled

"No spit up" He added with a chuckle

Piper laughed slightly "Yeah"

Phoebe looked like she wanted to interviene. I grabbed her arms, trying to push her back but she just swatted my hands down, "Psst" she whispered at Piper

"So you ready? Wanna go?" He smiled at Piper

"Phoebe" I gritted through my teeth, "Knock it off"

"He likes you" Phoebe continued whispering at her sister. "We can tell"

"And you had to involve me" I dropped my arms, rolling my head and eyes upwards

Piper smiled at him, "One second" she turned to us, smile fading as she narrowed her eyes at Phoebe "Leave Paige alone, I mean it"
