Chapter 2

"Memories... they're what make you who you are. They make up your past, present, and future. I want to create new memories...with you."

It has been a few days, since Shido met the mysterious Spirit, Kouta. It also been since the start of his training with Reine and Kotori. Kotori had decided to hold off on Kouta's date til Shido was fully prepared to handle spirits and understand them.

Kouta, still getting used to everything, was okay with waiting, so as long Shido kept his promise.

Shido was still holding onto the controller, sitting in his room as he held his fist in the air triumphantly, as if he was victorious.

Shido's POV

"Aw yes! I completed it!"

After all of the endless effort, I finally managed to get all the CG's!

I been stuck on my computer for days, playing this game over and over in order to handle females, and males if you count the amount of "those" type of games I was forced to play in order to communicate with Kouta better.

"I'm...so exhausted..."

"Shido! Are you okay in there?"

I listened in and heard through the door, Kouta, who was staying with me as our guest, until we could figure out what to do about the Spirit condo that was supposed to house spirits.

"Y-Yeah, I'm okay. No need to come in."

"Um...okay then. When you're done, snacks are out."

"Thanks!"

As I heard the footsteps get farther, I fell back into my chair with a sigh.

"I'm used to being around boys, thanks to Tonomachi, but I can't believe I have to actually do something like this. I mean, it would make sense, considering what I saw before. Seeing how kissing Kouta made his clothes disappear and everything, but I still don't understand why I have this power. And what more, why do I have to make them fall in love with me?"

Kouta's POV

It been several days since I woke up, and I had enjoyed it ever since. I learned so much about this world, and about humans too. But...ever since I pressed my lips against Shido's, I been feeling a bit... overwhelmed by these strange feelings. They all feel so familiar, yet don't at the same time.

"I begin going to school under the name "Kouta Kazuki" since I didn't have a last name. Ms. Reine came up with my last name, and Kotori, or Commander as some of the people call her, have also made arrangements for me to live here, with Shido.
