Kouta's POV
"We were on the airplane, and I looked at the arrangements as Tohka and Origami were sitting next to Shido, with him in between. I was sitting behind Shido, so I had a good view of his blue hair."
"..............."
"A few days ago-"
It was the middle of July, as summer Hoilday were just around the corner. We were soon gonna be heading on the school trip to Okinawa. Ms. Okamine informed us about the change of where we were going. It was Arubi Island.
"Hm....."
The class was a bit disappointed about the trip, but I was happy that we were going on a school trip. This would be my first trip.
"You can read the revised guidelines with the explanations of minor details. Now let's decide on how the class will be separated. Please make groups of 4 to 5 with anyone you like."
"Anyone we like?" I asked myself.
"Hey Kouta? Wanna be in a group with me?"
I looked up from my desk to see Shido, looking at me.
"S-Sure...that be great."
"What about me?!" Tohka exclaimed.
"Huh? What's wrong, Tohka?"
We looked over to see Tohka standing with Ms. Okamine.
You can't, Tohka! Girls and boys both need to be in separated!"
"Why? I want to be with Shido's group."
Suddenly, as we were leaving the classroom, Tohka left and went back inside.
"........?"
Tohka came back out, wearing her hair tied up and a jersey in exchange for a skirt.
"........ Tohka?"
"................."
"What is the meaning of this Tohka?!"
"It's pretty simple, Ms. Okamine."
All of the students were confused by what was going on and why Tohka was dressed like a boy. I wasn't sure why either.
"I'm totally a boy, now! So now I can stay in the same room as Shido on the trip!"
"We get to stay in the same room. That what made me happy the most. Being in the same room as Shido...."
"I don't think so. You can keep wearing those clothes but it doesn't change the fact that boys and girls have to stay in separate rooms." Ms. Okamine said.
"Excuse me."
At the moment, an unexpected person actually came to help Tohka. It was Origami of all people.
