Date A Live (Shido Itsuka x Kouta Kazuki)

Chapter 13

"30 years ago. The Eurasian Continent was attacked by a massive Spacial Quake. There was 150 million victims of this unpresentable event. And now...."

Kouta's POV

"Zzzz.........."

*Buzz* *Buzz*

"It been already a month since the fight with Origami at the amusement park. Ever since then, I been feeling strange whenever Shido's with someone else at times. I'm probably just overthinking it maybe."

"Kouta?!"

Hearing my name called, I instinctively slowly opened my eyes to see where I was. When I did, I looked to see a cute face, with brown eyes and dark blue hair. It was Shido Itsuka's face.

"Shi....do? *Yawn*

I rubbed my left eye with a groggily feeling.

"Kouta, um...why are you in my bed?"

"I was feeling sleepy last night....and so I wanted to sleep with you. Was that bad?"

"Um...No. Not a problem. Just...at least tell me beforehand sometimes...okay?"

I smiled at his word happily.

"Got it! Thanks Shido!"

Shido put his hand on my head, petting it gently. It was almost a amazing feeling. It was like I was getting a great gift.

"Last night, Shido and I stayed up late in order to review everything for the School's upcoming field trip. We also had studying to do, and I helped Shido out with some of the other classes."

*Bang!*

A sudden disturbance sound come in, shaking the entire room and the bed with Shido and me still in it. It was very much like a shockwave.

"How! What on Earth was that?!" Shido said this, in a panicking tone.

"I don't know...was it a Spacequake?" I said, still half sleepy.

"Let's check it out!"

Shido jumped out of bed, and I followed suit as well. We went to the window to see if we could determine the location of that huge shockwave. When we looked out of the balcony, we saw a black smoke, coming from Tohka and Yoshino's Apartment.

"Ah...!"

"That doesn't look good, Shido."

"Let's go!"

"Right."

Shido and I ran to the door after leaving his room and headed over to the spirit's apartment to check and see what all the commotion was about. We ran into Tohka's room, where the smoke originated from.

"Tohka, what's wrong?!"

"Are you okay?!"

"Oh, Shido....look."

Tohka turned and showed us a notebook. It was filled with writing and notes. That was Shido's notes that he lended Tohka awhile ago so that she could study for a quiz. It looked like the notes were stained with juice.

"I'm sorry. I accidentally got the notes I borrowed from you dirty!"

"What?"

"I lost control and thought you would hate me for it. Waaaa!"

Tohka begin to slightly cry with tears in her eyes, and a purple energy begin to circle around her, forming as large pillars.

"Her Spirit power is increasing Shido!"
