Rising Storm

Aren's POV

I walked into school, my eyes bagged darkly. "Haven't been getting much sleep?" Edward asked, falling into step alongside me with Bella and Alice. "Nope." I said. "Want to talk about it?" Alice asked. "Nope." I Said and saw Jacob.

I jogged to catch up. "Hey." I Said and he smiled. "Hey." And his arm slid around my shoulders as I leaned against him. "Art."

I said, my smile lighting up my face. I walked into the familiar classroom and found a distinctly familiar face teaching. I dropped my bag next to my desk with a thud and the teacher saw me. "Aren?" Darren said, voice thick with emotions and shock. "Hey Darren."

I said quietly and Jacob looked between us two. "What were you two?" He asked and I looked at him.

"More like what are we. Darren's my older brother by 11 years. He was once my alpha, until our mom died." I said and Darren hugged me. "Darren this is Jacob Black."

I Said and Darren shook Jacob's hand. "Good to meet you. I'm just assuming you guys are adopted siblings?" And I sighed. "Wait you're not..." Darren Said and I grunted. "Oh. My. God. You imprinted on your adopted sibling?"

He snapped, his face completely enraged.

"Hey back off. I imprinted on her as well. We can't control it." Jacob Said and Darren punched him in the face and Jacob grimaced. "Now you're making me angry." Jacob Said and I stood between them. "Jacob calm down now!"

I yelled and he looked at me, and I could see his struggle. "Jacob please. Calm down." I Said and he suddenly snapped out of the anger. "That was close." Jacob Said and I nodded.

"You okay?" I asked and he nodded. "I'm okay. You pulled me back just in time." He Said and I hugged him. "That would've been a lot of paperwork to fill out."

Darren Said and I snarled. "It's your fault he almost phased. Apologize before I rip your head off and shove it up your ass!" I yelled and he snarled and I shrugged. "Okay then."

And I grabbed him in a headlock and opened the window. I hopped out, holding him tighter. "I'll see you later Jake."

And she disappeared into the woods, dragging her brother behind her.

Four hours later...

I walked out of the woods, my arms covered in mud and sweat and my shirt was soaked with sweat. "Jesus. What did you guys do?" Jacob asked. "Nothing a bath can't fix." I said and tried to ignore the limp in my left leg. "What happened to your leg?" Jacob asked.

"Don't want to talk about it." And Jacob followed me upstairs till the doorway of my bedroom. "Aren. Tell me what happened."

He Said and I looked at him. "Darren tried to..." And Jacob looked at me.

"What? Tried to what?" He asked, cupping my face in his hands gently. "He tried to ask me questions about the fire that killed most of our family. I lost it completely and broke down but he kept beating on me until he got tired of it. He walked away and left me there, both legs hobbled until a few minutes ago."

I whispered and he growled.

"I'm going out. Stay here." Jacob Said and I looked at him, my gaze pleading as I realized what he was thinking.

"Jacob don't. Please, he's so much stronger then you. I don't want you to get hurt." I said quietly and grabbed his forearm, which was a scary thing for most people, but for me, it was the best thing I could do. "Jacob please."

I begged, with my mind, my mouth, and my face. He looked back at me and I felt his eyes on me as my head was bowed. "Look at me." He Said quietly and I shook my head. "Past and Present." I whispered and he growled.

"Look at me!"

And I looked up, shocked. Jacob never yelled, and now all of a sudden, he had.

"I don't care about the past okay? The past is the past and we can't change it, no matter how much we wish we could okay? What matters, is the future. So if Darren comes back to hurt you in the future, because I listened to you tonight, I would never forgive myself." Jacob Said.

I looked at him, my eyes sparkling with tears. "I'm sorry. If I wasn't an alpha, I would've killed him already." I said quietly and he looked at me, his eyes calm and loving for the first time since the fight against James who was a vampire that had kidnapped Bella.

"I so wish I wasn't so susceptible to your obvious tricks." Jacob said and he kissed me, picking me up.

"I have to say. It's one of my talents." I said and he kissed me again, shutting the door behind us. I felt my fangs coming out but I forced them back at the rush of euphoria that flooded over me. "Jake. What the hell are we doing?"

I asked as his lips ran over my neck. "Dad said us was okay." He Said and I looked at him through the happiness that clouded my thoughts. "You're not seriously gonna..." And he kissed me again, cutting off my words.

I was lying next to him, my head on his bare chest. "I don't think your dad meant this." I said and suddenly I heard him inhale. "Was that your first time?" He asked and I looked at him and shook my head.

"Second. My cousins raped me when I was 9, although I prefer to say that doesn't count." I said and he kissed me. "I'm so sorry."

And I looked at him and suddenly heard the door opening. "Dad's back." And he kissed me on the forehead. "I'll see you later.

And he disappeared. I looked down at my sheets and saw they were soaked. I sighed and pulled my sheets off and changed them quickly, listening for Billy all the while. I climbed into bed and fell asleep, exhausted.
