I stopped and turned to see Jin only inches from me and his hand on my shoulder. He recoiled his hand quickly and looked down. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have grabbed you like that." He said. He then looked up. "I just wanted to be sure to thank you for today. You were very welcoming, and I appreciate that a lot. Being the new guy isn't easy." His smile cut right through me, his perfect teeth lined up made me want to know how they'd feel biting my bottom lip.

I pulled away from my thoughts and smiled back to him. "It was my pleasure, Jin." I started to walk away again when he called out to me again.

"Noona!"

I turned and he almost ran into me. "I was actually going to ask if you'd like to get some dinner? I usually cook but just moving here I'm currently in a hotel. I haven't quite settled yet and I'm starving."

What?

"You want to go to dinner with me?"

He nodded slightly a smile still on his face.

"Um...uh...well yeah...sure...um...where would you want to go?"

"Well, that's where I'd need your help. I'm not sure of the restaurants around here."

"I know a really good Italian place that is just down the road, we could walk there."

"Perfect." He smiled. "Are you available now?"

I nodded unable to speak from the shock of his offer. Was this a date? No. It can't be. If anything it's a business meal. He extended his arm to me. I looked at it for a minute before holding on to him. I'm definitely not used to this kind of behavior from men. Other than Taehyung, I've never had someone be so gentlemanly towards me. With my hand on his arm and his other hand over my hand, my breathing started to become irregular again. His touch was soft and his demeanor was delicate. My head was quite literally spinning from our interaction. We walked down the street in a comfortable silence and he opened the door for me once we go there.

When we walked in I think the hostess shit her pants, because one look at Jin and she became a stuttering, babbling mess. Eventually we were taken to a table towards the back where it was quiet. Before I sat, Jin pulled out the chair for me and pushed it in as I sat down.

Who IS this guy?!

He sat across from me scooting in his chair and I felt compelled to say something.

"Thank you, Jin. But you don't have to do all this stuff for me. Please don't feel obligated."

"I don't feel obligated...I was always taught that when around a smart and beautiful woman you treat her with as much respect as possible."

He things I'm smart?

He things I'm beautiful?

I didn't say anything but instead picked up the menu looking it over. I'm not sure why I was looking, I always got the same thing when I came here. I looked over a Jin who seemed to be in deep thought with his choices. I put my menu down and pulled out my phone.

Me: Are you home yet?

Tangy Boy: Just got home last night, why?

Me: I think I'm on a date....

Tangy Boy: WHAT?!

Me: Maybe not...he's a new guy at work and I helped him all day, and when we were dismissed to leave he asked me to dinner.

Tangy Boy: Is it a business dinner? You do those all the time.

Me: Um...maybe? Do business dinner partners call you smart?
