Chapter 9

A/N: Hi. So this chapter is quite lengthy (its about 4000 words). So before reading this chapter, grab a snack and a drink because this chapter has a lot going on. I really hope you like it. I'm a little under the weather at the moment so I'm trying to take care of myself before it gets worse. Enjoy ARMY!

When you arrived at the university, it was completely chaotic. People started to surround you. It was Gina who stepped forward. She snarkily spoke up, "So it is true then. You're my darling Namjoon's girlfriend." You took several steps back. Your back hit the nearest locker and you were terrified. "That's enough everyone!" Your eyes widen, "Dad?" Gina stutters, "P-Professor L/N!" Gina runs off and you slide down in relief. Your father runs over to you. He asked, "Are you alright, honey?" Who told the public of our relationship?

"Your highness! Stop daydreaming and pay attention!" Namjoon mumbles an apology as he listened to the Transportation minister speak. The doors suddenly burst open. It was Jin. Jin bows, "I apologize for the intrusion, gentlemen. I need to speak to my brother about an important matter." Jin drags Namjoon outside and closes the door. Jin said, "Someone told the media about you and Y/N being together. I don't know who....but I think there's a mole within the palace." Namjoon was shocked, "A mole? So you're saying someone is outing our relationship to the world?" Jin shook his head, "No Namjoon, that's not it. There's more to this. Someone is telling the enemy nation of our military's plan to pursue their wrongdoings. There is a betrayal among us. We have to stay wary." Jin adds, "You mustn't tell Y/N. This mole must also have something against her. From what sources tell me, this mole plans on assassinating her." This news made Namjoon uneasy.

After what happened with Gina, you hid in your father's office. You sigh, "I'm sorry about this, Dad." Your father takes off his glasses and replies, "Y/N, did you say anything about your relationship with Namjoon?" You shook your head, "Namjoon and I only agreed to speak about it when I felt more comfortable about speaking up." Your father's eyes darken, "Y/N, I think someone is after you both. You especially must take caution. Namjoon may have royal guards but you need to be extra careful when you are outside of the palace."

Jin rubs his temples in frustration. "Jin?" Jin looks up, "Y/N..." You ask, "Am I interrupting something?" You could tell he looked quite stressed. You add, "I can come back later, Jin." Jin speaks up, "Y/N, can I ask you something?" You look at him and reply, "Of course." Jin inquires, "Have you spoken about your relationship with my brother?" You respond, "No, I haven't. Namjoon and I agreed to tell everyone when we were ready." You add, "Although, I feel as if someone beat us both to the chase." Jin quickly says, "I apologize. I shouldn't have asked." You give Jin a smile, "It's fine, Jin. You're only looking out for Namjoon. It's only natural. I have to go." Jin watches you leave his office. Jin thinks, "Y/N must suspect something is off."

Meanwhile, a figure crept around the castle watching you. The figure hid when she saw her supervisor come out from his quarters. "What are you doing?" The figure turns around, "M-Master Kai!" Kai sighs, "Rina, what on earth are you doing?" Rina quickly shakes her head, "N-Nothing!"

"Noona?" You jump when you hear Tae's voice. You clutch your chest, "Tae, you startled me." Taehyung asked, "Noona, what's wrong?" You take a deep breath before speaking, "Tae, I-I think someone is targeting Namjoon..." Taehyung's eyes widen as he sits beside you. He inquires, "Why do you say that, noona?" You reply, "I've had this horrible feeling, Tae. I'm so afraid something will happen to either Namjoon or myself." "Y/N noona?" Taehyung's eyes widen once more, "That's Jimin's voice."

****Ten minutes earlier****

Jimin arrived at the gates of the Cortalian palace. He did have something to say to you. However, his mind was full of horrible thoughts. Jimin was greeted by the maids and butlers before being escorted inside.
