Chapter 13

You didn't expect to see people lining up at the RCU entrance. You had no idea what was going on until people started screaming at you. You saw even more people begin to close in on you. That was when you felt an arm grab you. You look and see Luna. Luna asked worriedly, "Are you okay, Y/N unnie?" You give her a broken nod.

Meanwhile, Namjoon stood nervously in front of your family. That was when your father chuckled. He remarks, "Namjoon, you've had our blessings the day you saved our daughter." Namjoon blinks, "I-I....did?" Your mother nods, "You've made our Y/N so happy." Lisa smiles and adds, "You have each of our blessings, Namjoon." Namjoon's heart flutters with happiness, "Thank you."

Namjoon wanted to propose to you. However, he had no idea how he was going to do so. He had just come back to the royal palace. Namjoon sat in office when Jin suddenly entered. Jin asked, "Do you have a moment?" Namjoon motions his older brother to sit down. Jin questions, "Have you spoken with Y/N's family?" Namjoon nods, "Yes, I have. They were happy...really happy. Her parents said that I had their blessings the day I saved Y/N from dying." Jin smiles, "Joon, you deserve as much happiness as myself or Taehyung." Jin adds, "If you'd like, I can ask the maknaes to distract Y/N. You know how much those three love her, right?" Namjoon laughs, "Kook is always 'Y/N noona this, Y/N noona that....' It's really cute to be honest."

When you came back to the palace, it was very quiet. All of a sudden you hear a chorus of "NOONA!" Jimin excitedly spoke, "Noona noona!! You're back!" Taehyung hugs you and just laughs at his cousins' behaviour. Tae asked you, "Long day?" Jungkook whines, "Y/N noona!!" Jungkook buries his head in your shoulder. He was pulled away by Jimin. You yawn, "To answer your question Tae, yes. I've been given the president's duties while she gets to enjoy a weekend away." The maknaes look at one another. Jimin asked, "Can we help, noona?" You sigh, "Alright but on one condition. You have to listen to my instructions, okay?" All three of them nod.

Taehyung snuck away from your room for a moment. He saw Namjoon and mentally sighs in relief. He went over to Namjoon since he was reading something. Namjoon asked, "Tae? I thought you'd be with Y/N?" Taehyung replies, "I wanted to sneak away for a second. Is everything okay?" Namjoon lets out a small huff, "I can't find Y/N's favourite flowers. I want to give her a bouquet when I propose but....I can't find the perfect one." It was Jin who spoke up. Jin remarks, "Why don't you ask Maybel to help you? She's an expert on anything flower related."

Moments later, Namjoon was searching for the royal gardener. Namjoon saw the red-haired gardener and called out to her. Maybel curtsies, "Hello Lord Namjoon! What can I do for you?" Namjoon asked, "Would you be able to help me with something?" Maybel nods happily, "Of course!" Namjoon adds, "I want to propose to Y/N. I want to create a bouquet with her favourite flowers....but I don't know anything about flowers." Maybel smiles, "Well...what kind of flowers does milady like?" Namjoon ponders before answering, "She loves roses, pink orchids, gardenias, and cherry blossoms." Maybel responds with another smile, "You must love Lady Y/N a lot, milord. I'd be happy to help you create this bouquet for her."

Jimin had dragged you to the garden. You were slightly confused but Jimin's eyes were filled with mischief.

Namjoon heard your voice. His eyes widen. Namjoon stayed quiet when he heard you speak, "Flowers are more than just a plant, Jimin. They have a lot of different meanings, both good and bad depending on the flower." Namjoon heard Jimin's voice reply, "What's your favourite flower, noona?"

You and Jimin were talking about the different types of flowers in the garden. Jimin looks around in awe, "They're such pretty plants." You reply, "Flowers are more than just a plant, Jimin. They have a lot of different meanings, both good and bad depending on the flower." Jimin asked, "What's your favourite flower, noona?" You respond with a small smile, "I don't have a favourite but I like a lot of different types. Cherry blossoms will always be one of my favourite flowers. Flowers can speak for you in a sense." Jimin asked, "Noona, what type of flower represents Namjoon hyung?" You ponder for a moment. You reply, "Namjoon? I mean....there's a lot of different flowers that would represent him. An amaryllis or a gladiolus maybe? He's honourable but he also never fails to impress me with his sudden moments of quoting literary pieces." Jimin spoke up after a few minutes, "Hey noona, isn't that Namjoon hyung?" You look and see Namjoon coming towards you both.
