a/n- i know i said that gavin and alice were engaged, but i'm changing it so they're married now, kay?

Well, a week passed. Which only meant one thing. Time to go to Idaho! It was May second, a two days before my nineteenth birthday.

Brailee left a few days ago because Aunt Kayli and Uncle Casey wanted her down there a few days earlier. Which meant that I was going to fly alone, but that never really bothered me. I liked going on trips alone; it gave me time to think.

My flight was leaving at seven in the morning, and it was currently about three thirty. I had to get up four hours early so I could, including LA traffic, be at the airport by four thirty, be past security by five forty or so, then have time for breakfast and shopping before my flight left at seven. I then had a layover for two hours in Salt Lake, where that plane would take me to the small airport in Idaho where Mom, Dad, and the kids would be waiting for me. I was excited to see Brock and Gavin, considering I haven't seen them in a while.

All of my things were set by the door the night before so I could just leave in the morning. I was in the car, driving to the airport. Even if it was only four in the morning, there was still traffic. Not a lot, but enough. I quickly stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got an Iced Coffee, before heading off to the airport.

Oh, and Jake and I have been on a few more dates. He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend or anything yet, but I'm not worried. I want to take it slow anyway, so I was going to give him time to think.

I was sitting at my gate, relaxing after the long hassle of getting through security. The sun was just starting to come up, which always was beautiful to me. Whenever we had to go on flights when I was younger, or even car road trips, us kids would always look out the windows and watch the sun come up if we were awake.

I took a sip of my coffee and checked my phone, seeing a text from Mom. I read the text and called her, rather than texting her back.

"Hey, Av." I heard her voice after a few rings.

"Hey, Mom." I smiled even though she couldn't see me. "I'm at the gate. We're boarding soon."

"Great. Do you know when you'll land in Idaho yet?"

"Yeah." I glanced down at my flight schedule. "I should be landing at about noon."

"Okay. The kids are already up. They're going insane."

I laughed. "They have like five hours, why are they up already?"

"I don't know." Mom sighed. "I think they're just over excited."

"Oh." I laughed at looked to the boarding station when I heard a voice over the loudspeaker. "Hey, Mom, I gotta go, my flight's boarding."

"Alright, be safe. Love you."

"Love you too, Mom. See you." I said and put my phone in my pocket, grabbing my stuff and boarding the plane.

After seven and a half hours of traveling, the second plane finally landed in Idaho, and I couldn't stop the smile from spreading across my face when I got off the plane and saw my entire family waiting for me.

"Avia!" Brock shouted and ran over to me. "Missed 'ya sis." He said into my shoulder. He was getting tall, almost fourteen years old.

"Hey, dude." I smiled, giving him a quick hug while trying to walk over to the rest of my family.

"Hey, Avia!" Dad smiled, playfully shoving Brock off of me and threw his arms around me in a bone crushing hug.

Slowly patting his back with my hands, I laughed. "Hey, Dad. Hey, Gav."
