LAURY ORII was fresh out of the Galaxy Garrison training program. She's tough, cold to many, and determined to everyone who knows her. She's hell bent on proving they aren't alone in the universe. But time after time, every one of her machines comes back with no data. A war is stirring a round her, and she's starting to think this whole endeavor is stupid. So when one of her transmissions to contact alien life succeeds, she's not really sure what to do. Especially since the alien has a calming voice and the cutest laugh she's every heard.
