*Angels POV*
This sucks. Not the date part. The getting ready part. I don't ave any girl friends that can help me with my first date. I don't have anyone to help me pick out a cute outfit or the perfect pair of shoes. I guess I missed out on girl world while I was 'away'. It's not like I had a tin if friends back home anyway.
I push the thoughts out of my head a I put the music in my phone in shuffle and plug in my curling iron. I wait for it to heat up before turning my straight blonde hair into soft curls.
Satisfied I dig through my suitcase until I find the dress I knew would be perfect. It's white that slowly turns into peach at the bottom. I ad a slim brown belt and a jean jacket topping it off with my white converse.
I use a little but of cover up, eye shadow, and mascara to make myself presentable. I look one last time in the mirror before I hear a knock on the door.
I open the door to reveal a very handsome looking Luke with his hanf behind his back. He's dressed is his classic black jeans and a white v-neck with his all black converse. His eyes sparkle and his hair is perfect as always.
"Wow. You look gorgeous." He tells me. I blush slightly and send him a smile.
"Thank you. Lookin pretty good yourself." I reply.
When he pulls his hands out from behind his back he hands me a bouquet of beautiful flowers.
"Awe Luke you didn't have to get me flower." I say taking then an pecking his lips.
"I thought it was necessary." He says smiling at me.
I place the flowers on the table before taking his hand and following his out the door. He leads me into the elevator and I'm starting to get curious.
"Ok can you tell me where exactly we are goin?" I ask him batting my leashes for effect and plastering on a wide smile.
"Yeah that's not going to work I'm not telling." He says crossing his arms and smirking at me.
I just groan and pout. He doesn't buy it so I give up. I rest my head on his shoulder and his arm goes around my waits to pull me close. When elevator opens Luke stands in front of me smiling.
"Ok close your eyes it's a stories from here on out." He says taking my arm as I close my eyes.
He leads me into what I assume is an open space. We stop and he takes my shoulders and tunes me around.
"Ok open your eyes." He whispers in my ear.
When my eyes open the view is amazing. We're on the roof of our hotel looking over the lights of New York City. It's absolutely amazing! I turn around to see a single table with two chairs and Christmas lights strung around it. Candles are set up on the table with a single red rose (my favorite flower) sitting in the middle.
"Luke..." I trail off turning to meet his bright blue eyes "this is absolutely amazing. I love it." I have to stand in my tip toes to kiss him.
When I pull away his cheeks are tinted pink and he's showing off that adorable dimpled smile.
We take a seat and have a wonderful meal. We talked and laughed and it was wonderful. Luke set a blanket in the ground and helps me sit. He disappears for a second and comes back with an acoustic guitar slung over his shoulder.
He sits in the ledge and starts to strum a few notes and then starts to sing.
For a while we pretended
That we never had to end it
But we knew we'd have to say goodbye
You were crying at the airport
When they finally closed the plane door
I could barely hold it all inside
Torn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you are
I could fly a thousand oceans
But there's nothing that compares to
What we had, and so I walk alone
I wish I didn't have to be gone
Maybe you've already moved on
But the truth is I don't want to know
Torn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you are
You can say we'll be together
Someday
Nothing lasts forever
Nothing stays the same
So why can't I stop feeling this way
Torn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you are
His voice fades off and there are tears in my eyes. He sets down his guitar an envelops me in a hug when he sits next to me. I push my hair over my shoulder a he pulls away. His blue eyes are shining with his own tears.
"I wrote that a year after you were kidnapped. I guess it helped me cope with the fact that you were gone." He tells me
"It's amazing. I love it!" I say pressing my lips to him.
"And I love you." He whispers agains my lips. "I will always love you."
