"We'd get married after college and I don't want to hear your tales again...I'm fed up" Josh said, hands akimbo while standing in his room.

It was three months after the graduation already and we would go to college soon.

I am here, sitting on Josh's bed and looking up at Josh.

We have been arguing for the past two hours on how to plan our future, together.

He wanted us married immediately we were done with college.

He didn't want any other guy chasing after me.

I wanted us to be established firstly before we think about getting married.

I wanted us to be comfortable.

We couldn't just rush into marriage.

Well,I was scared about the whole idea of marriage.

"We can't , Josh" I said.

"Why?" He asked, the atmosphere getting tensed up.

"It  would be too early, I wouldn't be prepared" I replied.

"Why? Guess you don't want to spend forever with me" He said, sounding hurt.

"Not like that, I didn't mean it that way" I said.

"Not what way? You aren't telling me anything because I see no reason why you wouldn't be prepared by then!" He said, storming out of the room.

He just didn't get it, he was hurt with my words of 'not being prepared' and I needed him to understand that.

'He has to calm down'.......I thought.

After about thirty minutes,I join him at the veranda.

He has his face covered with his hands.

"Josh,I'm sorry" I pleaded.

"I'm okay, babe, its just that those words hit a little bit hard" He tells me.

"I'm sorry, its just that I was scared of the whole idea of marriage" I said.

"Now I get why you 'won't be prepared'.
I'm also sorry ,I guess I sounded too demanding, right?" He said.

"No,not at all,thanks for understanding' I replied.

" Who else would if I don't " He added,smiling.

"Urghhh..I guess my parents would" I blurt out.

"Ouch...that hurt..they wouldn't understand than I do" He said, feigning tears...

And we were back to chuckling and looking into each others' eyes.

Feels so good to fall in love and be loved.
