Number One (Souma Kukai x reader)

Chapter 7

(Kukai's POV)

Today is when we go to Tokyo. The teacher made me and (Name) partners. He partnered girls and boys but we still have to be separated when we sleep. I'd probably be too embarrassed to even sleep.

(Reader's POV)

-present time-

I put on my shoes and my travel bag and walked out of my home. When I got out of my yard, I was met with a smiling Kukai. We walked to school talking about stuff.

When we got there, was a girl that ran up to us her she had slightly sharp green eyes and short curly auburn hair color. She looked to be the same age as Amu. When she got close enough, she hugged Kukai making me feel something I never felt before.

"Oh is this your girlfriend Kukai-senpai?" I asked teasingly making the girl blush a dark red.

"No!" His answer came too fast. "Uhh. She's the captain of my fan club."

"You have a fan club?" I asked him making him nod. It's only been three weeks since I moved here but it feels like I've known Kukai since we were born.

"Why don't I have a fan club?" I asked the girl making her sweat drop.

"Because (Name)-chan your not cool like me!" Kukai said teasingly making both of is laugh.

"Wait! I don't know your name!" I said to the girl who looked just about ready to rip someone's head off. "I'm (F/n) (L/n) by the way."

"I am Yamabuki Saaya." The girl said making me smile a charming smile.

(Saaya's POV)

This girl is pissing me off. She's just like Amu! Perfect! Why doesn't senpai notice me! (LOL! NOTICE ME SENPAI!)

(Reader's POV)

I backed away as she emitted a dangerous aura. I grabbed Kukai's hand and ran to the garden. I don't think the girl noticed because she was still tagging. I sighed in relief and entered the garden not know ticking that I was still holding Kukai's hand.

"Hey you guys!" I said walking to the others.

"He-" Nadeshiko started but then notice out intertwined hands,"Did Kukai finally ask you out?"

I looked at her confused then she pointed at our hands. It seemed that Kukai also didn't notice that we were still holding hands because when I looked, he also looked. We both blushed and pulled our hands away.

The girls giggled making me act all tsundere and look away with a blush on my face. Like Romano from Hetalia.

"W-whatever." I said looking away a blush clearly on my face.

"If you aren't dating, then why were you two holding hands?" Nadeshiko said a smile embedded on her face.

"Oh Yamabuki-san." I said finger up.

"Oh Saaya. Let me guess she raged?" Amu asked sweat dropping.

"Oh well no. Saaya-san had a scary aura. Kind of like Russia." I mumbled the last part.

"YOU WATCH HETALIA?!" Yaya said running to me then glommed me.

"Yeah. Do you?!" I asked her getting excited.

"Yeah!"

-after fangirling-

"Oh we better be heading off to class." I said grabbing my travel bag after me and Yaya's fangirling.

"Oh yeah. The bell is about to ring." Tadase said and grabbed his bag as the others did too.

-to the airport-

"Oh man I'm scared." I told Kukai.

"Have you never ridden a plane before?"

"No! We always rid a boat or a car when we travel." I told him entering the plane.

We sat at our seats which were next to each other. I was on the window side though. I looked out and watched people move around.

-skip to Tokyo-

"My head hurts." I said to Kukai holding onto his shoulder.

"Jet lag." He said helping me stand up straight.

"Ok, ok I'm fine. We're suppose to go to the temples first right?" I asked him now ok but still slightly dizzy.

"Yeah. We'll be going to the temples with the other grades." He said as we head to the bus that we were gonna ride in.

We were riding with the fifth graders meaning Amu, Nadeshiko and Tadase. When we got into the bus, we found that the fifth graders were already there.

I sat next to Kukai with Tadase and Amu sitting in front of us while Nadeshiko sat with Saaya. I slid down feeling the glare of Saaya on my head.

Muse, Symphony and Score were on my head the whole time. I don't know how they stayed there but they were now up. I looked outside to see buildings and a few plots that looked like parks.

"Wow." I said seeing a river as we went over a bridge.

-skip to the last temple of the day-

We met up with the other two grades on the last temple so we only met up with Yaya there. We took a few pictures which were all funny because someone usually managed to trip.

"Oh look at this one." I told the others as I was looking through the pictures.

I then noticed that there was a figure behind us on the last picture. It was a shadow but in this one we took the picture when at noon.

"It's a ghost." I told them somehow making myself look as if a shadow was over my face.

Nadeshiko and Amu screeched in terror getting the attention of the other students. I cracked up at their reaction.

"Delete it!" Amu said hiding behind Nadeshiko.

"Nah! I'm keeping it!" I said with a teasing tone. When I looked back at the picture, the shadow was gone.

"G-guys... th-the sha-shadow is gone." I told them showing them my camera. We screeched and I threw the camera to Amu who tossed it to Nadeshiko who goosed it back to me.

"Guys what's up?" I heard making me throw the camera to the voice. It was Kukai. He caught the camera. "What the."

"T-there was a shadow a-and now it's gone!" I said pointing to the camera with Amu and Nadeshiko behind me nodding.

Kukai looked at the picture and raised a brow. He turned it and pointed at the camera. We nodded my finger still pointing at the camera.

"There's nothing there." He said handing it back to me. When I got a hold of it, I deleted the picture.

-to the bus-

"Did you delete the picture?" Amu asked still looking scared.

"Yeah. Well I've got a scary story to tell my brother now." I told her scared slightly.

-the hotel place-

I was sharing a room with Amu and Nadeshiko by our request. We were talking about the ghost.

"What if it is a ghost?" I asked them turning off the lights. I turned around very slowly and turned on my flashlight and flashed it on my face. The girls shrieked making me laugh.

"Go to sleep girls." One of the female teachers said knocking on the door.

"Yes sensei!" We said in reply and slept.
