Chapter 17

(Reader's POV)

I open my eyes and yawn as I feel the blinding rays of the sun on my face. Today is Saturday it's finally warm enough to swim in an outdoor pool. I put on my swimsuit and some shorts.

I decided that I'm gonna ask them over to swim with me. I turn to my phone.

Just as I was about to call Kukai, my phone dies. I could use the home phone but I don't really remember his number. I groan as put on a crop top and walk out of my house with slippers on my feet.

I knock on Kukai's door and hear nothing. I then knock again and was about to give up but then the door opens. I turn around and see Kukai's brother.

"Can I see Kukai?" I ask him and he nods and moves aside. I walk in and was led to a living room.

"I'll go call him." He says and I nod then sit down. Muse, Symphony, Score and Sola float into the room smiling.

"Oh. (Name)." I heard Kukai's voice. I stand making him see my attire makin him blush.

"Kukai~ you perv!" I said and hit his back playfully.

"No I'm not." He said not getting my teasing tone.

"I'm just kidding. Anyways, you know how there is a pool in my back yard?" He nods," I asked the guardians if they want to swim with me. I was gonna call you but my phone died and I forgot you number." I said scratching the back of my head.

"Alright, let me just get ready." He said and walked away only to be bombarded by questions from his brothers.

(Kukai's POV)

As I walk out of my room, I see (Name) being asked questions. Seeing that she looked uncomfortable, I coughed When I glanced at her, she looked at me with thankfulness in her eyes.

"Let's go (Name)." I grab her hand and walk to her house with her, Daichi, Muse, Symphony, Score and Sola in tow.

(Amu's POV)

I met with Yaya, Nadeshiko and Tadase at the train station at (Name)'s stop. When we arrived at her house, we saw her and Kukai laughing outside with their fingers intertwined.

"Ohh~" Nadeshiko said making the couple pull away and look at anyone but their counterpart.

(Reader's POV)

"C'mon." I show them into my home and into my backyard.

"Yosha!" Yaya said then started stripping making the guys and Nadeshiko look away. Me and the girls laughed.

I then looked at Nadeshiko suspicious of her actions. Yes she might think that it's shameful but she must have known that Yaya must have had a swimsuit under her clothes. I need to confront her later.

I followed Yaya's action and took off my crop top to reveal my swimsuit top. That was it. I stretch, put on sunscreen and dive in. When I surfaced, the guys where playing around in the pool.

I got out of the pool and dried off. I put the towel on me and enter the house. My dad made me some hamburgers yesterday so yeah. I warm them up and go back outside.

"Are you guys hungry?" I ask them making them look at me.

-skip to changing into normal clothes-

I open the door that Nadeshiko is in to see that she...... he was changing. Nadeshiko had no boobs and instead of panties, she wore boxers. My eyes widen as wide as his.

I go into the room and close the door. I stand straight and place my hand on my hip.

"Nadeshiko."

"(N-Name)-chan."

"Explain!"

Nadeshiko- or rather Nagihiko explained his story. I pull him into a hug but then remember that he was still in his boxers.

"Nagi-san who else knows of this secret?" My voice was low and quiet.

"Tadase." I nod and leave the room.

-skip again-

I wave to them as they were picked up by their parents. I tried walking back inside but my hand was caught just in time. I look behind me to see Kukai. When I see his frown however, I also frown and pull him into the house.

"Kukai what's wrong?" I ask him as I make some juice.

"(Name). I-I want to tell you something." I look at him with a tilt of my head.

"What is it?" I drank the juice.

"W-would you go to the amusement park tomorrow? On a date?" I look at him with shock on my face then I grin like the idiot I am.

"Yesh!" I said and hug him. He awkwardly hugged me back but then calmed down

I laid my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beat. Thud thud thud. Before I know it, I'm kissing his cheek. I pull back then look at his lips. As I was about to lean forward, I hear the sound of the door opening making me pull away.

"Oh Kukai-kun." I look up at my mom then smiled a nervous smile.

"W-well I'll pick you up tomorrow (Name). At ten." Then he left.

"Oh why is he gonna pick you up?" I look up at my mom with a blush on my face.

"We-we're gonna go on a date."
