Rain drops were hitting the windshield as Hank pulls the car up to this food truck called Chicken Feed and puts it in park. He turns the car off and walks out of the car, not bothering to let you out of the car. You and Connor watch him walk across the street as he makes it over to the truck.

You roll your eyes as Connor gets out of the car and stands aside for you to get out. "Thanks." You said, appreciatively, as you get out of the car. Connor shuts the door and the two of you make your way towards the truck.

"Come on, this is different, it's one hundred percent guaranteed. You can't go wrong." A man, Pedro, said to Hank. "Yeah, right..." Hank muttered.

You knew that they were talking about some sort of gambling deal that Hank always got involved from time to time. "Alright, I'm in." Hank said to Pedro as he pulls some cash out of his pocket.

"Damn straight!" Pedro exclaimed as Hank pats his shoulder. Pedro walks away then shouts over his shoulder. "You won't regret this!"

You roll your eyes once again as you and Connor walk up next to Hank.
"What is your problem?" Hank asked Connor, clearly annoyed. "Don't you ever do as you're told? Look, you don't have to follow me or (y/n) around like a poodle!" He sighs then looks up at the TV that was inside of the truck.

"I'm sorry for my behavior at the police station. I didn't mean to be unpleasant." Connor said, apologetically. Hank chuckles at this.

"Oh, wow....You've even got a brown-nosing apology program!" He said, smiling, while you laughed at this.

Hank Status: Warm but rising

"Guys at CyberLife thought of everything, huh?" Hank chuckles as Gary, the cook of the food truck, gives Hank his food and drink. "Thanks, Gary. I'm starving..." Hank said after he pays his food. "Anything for you, (y/n)?" Gary asked you. "Um...just water and a burger." You said. Gary nods at you and pours you a cup of water and cooks up a burger

"Thanks." You said as you pay him and pick up your order while Hank walks away. "Don't leave that thing here!" Gary said as he points at Connor. "Huh, not a chance! Follows me and (y/n) everywhere..." Hank said. "But mostly follows (y/n)."

"Very funny, Hank." You said, sarcastically, and you start to walk away until Gary grabs your hand, which caused Connor's LED to go red at this. Something in him was stirring but he didn't know what. "I was wondering have you thought about what I said the other day? About us?" Gary asked you.

A few days ago when you and Hank came here for a lunch, Gary confessed to you that he really liked you and he wanted to take you on a date. You thought he was alright looking but you weren't really interested. So you told him that you would get back with him about it.

"As tempting as that sounds, Gary. I'm just not interested. Sorry." You said and Connor's LED goes back to blue.

"What? Why?" Gary asked, confused.
"I'm too busy for dating and even if I wasn't...I'd still say no cause, like I said, I'm not intrested." You replied, firmly.

"Oh come on! Just give me a chance!" Gary pleads to you. But before you could reply, Connor speaks up. "She said she's not interested. So, leave her alone." He said, firmly. Gary looks up at him and glares at Connor.

(Y/N) Status: Warm but rising

"Oh, I see. You're fucking this plastic asshole." Gary grumbles to you. "No, I'm not. I just have no interest in you at all. Now please, drop it!" You said in a low tone at him. Gary scoff then said. "Whatever...have fun with your plastic toy."
