24. Confused Manik

That day Manik didnt went to university he was hell frustrated and only one thing was roaming in his mind which kunj said...

Manik - urrgghhh... how dare you kunj... how dare you say something like this to me.. galty tumne ki thi... tunhe to guilty hona chahiye ... but tumne mujhe itna kuch suna dia... mujhe pta h ki tum aj nhi to kal wapas mere piche piche aoge tab me tumhe bataunga.. tumhare har beizzaty ka badla lunga... [that's what we call ego.... ]

Manik was talking with himself.. consoling himself that kunj will come.. little did he know that he lost him...

At night...

In dinning table... uday and Anamika sat... Manik came after sometime and sat lil distantly as usual... Manik's eyes were searching for kunj... as he was not there... to his releif uday asked about kunj..

uday - Ye kunj kahaa h...

Anamika - Vo uska phone aya tha... vo aj apne friend k wahaa ruk raa h... as usual night out u see..

Manik felt lil bad today whole day not for once kunj didnt irritated him... and now also he was not there...

Manik stood up ..

uday - Manik.. kia hua khana to kha lo..

manik - I m done... ! (saying this he left)

Manik thinks - Aaj pure din me ek baar bhi usne mujhse baat ni ki.. fine na kare... accha he to h... mujhe uski irritation se chutkara mil gya...

Manik left to his room...

Manik tries to sleep but whenever he close his eyes kunj's broken face came in his view... the words which he said roam in his mind

"APKO NAHI PASAND NA KI ME AAPKE AAS PASS AU.. NHI AUNGA .. KABHI NHI AUNGA.. HUM EK HE GHAR ME RAHENGE LEKIN AJNABIYO KI TARAH"

Manik woke up gasping - kyuu.. kyu bar bar kunj ki vo sab baate mujhe yaad aa ri h.. why m i getting affected..??. i wanted this didnt i...??

Next day morning...

Manik was ready to go to the university .. at that time maya called...

Manik shocked in these 2 days he totally forgot about maya.. not for once he missed her...

Manik - Haa masi boliye..

mayaa - Umm kese ho beta... thik ho na... mei bas tumhare haal chal puchne k liye phn kia.. us raat jo kuch bhi hua i know tum bht gussa honge sabse ryt...

Manik was not intersted in listening to her he was quiet...

maya - me bas itna kehna chahty hu .. me isi sheher me he hu tumhara jab man kare mujhse milne chale anaa beta...

Manik noticed kunj entered.. he felt lil good seeing him...

manik - Maasi vo me... aapse baad me baat karta hu...

Maya confused but phone got cut...

Kunj entered and Manik deliberately stood infront of his room because kunj's room was after Manik's room... so kunj will notice him..

Manik thinks - Abhi mujhe dekh k baat karne jaega tbhi me bhi use ese ignore karunga... [ this is what we call cute... isnt it 😂]

Kunj went up from the stairs and Manik was this close to him.. but to his shock kunj didnt even looked at him... and left... to his room... Manik was totally blown away.. from this behaviour it never happened before...
