Toshinori

Jojobear: so Toshi, you never did tell me why you're on this dating app.

Toshinori blinked. It's not really that interesting. I was just curious about it.

Toshi46: well, tbh I was sort of curious. I never spent much time looking for girls to date irl, so one day I thought eh I'll just try online dating, and see who I meet.

Jojobear: did you meet anybody?

Toshi46: yeah a few people. One girl was just super talkative and it sort of intimidated me, so I sort of just went 'mhm' and 'ah I see' every time she told me something.

Jojobear: oh I bet she didn't like that

Toshi46: she got annoyed xD

Jojobear: yeah well girls want a guy who actually input more words than just 'ah I see' 😂

Toshi46: she was too much for me anyhow. Then there was another girl that actually lives here in Tokyo, but when I told her my age really was 46, she backed right off.

Jojobear: ouch 😕 age shouldn't even matter

Toshi46: well, i think it should. Otherwise you'd be justifying pedophilia.

Jojobear: okay whoa I do NOT support older dudes hitting on children. I just mean, like, take us for example. You're almost 50 years old, and I'm almost halfway to 30. But I can make the decision to talk to you and be friends with you because i'm smart. A child can't give consent until they're 18. But even 18 year olds aren't always the best decision makers.

Toshinori read all of that carefully. She makes a good point.

Jojobear: didn't mean to type up a whole lecture there 😝 but I mean it. If I wanna date someone in their 40s I can. And I will.

Toshi46: makes sense to me. Are you saying you wanna date me? 😏

Toshinori bit his lip in anticipation. It's been about a whole month that they've been talking now, and he was beginning to really like Joanna.

Jojobear: who knows? 😉

Toshinori sighed. That's certainly not what I wanted to hear. Maybe now I can ask for a picture of her.

Toshi46: ☺️ so I've been thinking about something lately.

Jojobear: look out everybody! Toshi's brain is working!

Toshinori rolled his eyes and chuckled.

Toshi46: wow you're so funny! You should be a comedian 😒

Jojobear: sorry lmao what are you thinking about?

Toshi46: we've been talking for a while now, and I still have no earthly idea what you look like.

Jojobear: oh, right! I get so caught up in conversations with you I always forget to send one. Gimme a moment and I'll take a pic for you.

Toshi46: okay! 😃

Toshinori gripped his phone tightly. I can't wait to see what she looks like!

After a few minutes a photo showed up. What Toshinori saw was a fair skinned girl with long brown and white hair, glasses and a cute smile.

His heart fluttered. She's beautiful.

Toshi46: oh my goodness you're so cute! 😍

Jojobear: oh stop it, I'm normal looking!

Toshi46: I'm completely serious! I love the hair! How do you get that white to look so bright?

Jojobear: oh that's albino hair, I have a spot in the centre of my forehead so the hair grows out pure white.
