DAY 1
YOUR POV
it was my first day at Hawkins Middle School.
i moved here from (any town).
the principal, leads me through the classroom door, labeled 'Science'.
a man with a obvious mustache that looks in between young and old, stops teaching when i enter.
"oh this must be our new student!" he exclaims.
i lifts my head barely and look around at this class.
there's a group of boys and one red haired girl in the front, all of them staring at me.
i sigh and sort of roll my eyes and try to walk to an open seat, "ah ah ah! you don't get away that easily" the teacher chuckles.
i roll my eyes and back up to the front of the room again.
the red headed girl leans forward to talk to me, "don't worry, he does that. he did it to me when i was new"
i nod
"Dustin. Drumroll." the teacher commands.
one of the four boys, the curly headed one with the hat, he takes his book, closes it, and starts drum-rolling.
the other three boys, still stare at me.
i look away.
"class. all the way from (any town). the latest passenger to join us on our curiosity voyage..... y/f/n! (your full name)"
i look at him, annoyed. "it's y/n/n"
"sorry?"
"my names y/n or y/n/n. no one calls me y/f/n"
"oh... well, sorry"
i roll my eyes and make my way to a empty seat.
the red haired girl smirks at me, "i'm Max"
i smile back, "y/n. well, you probably already know that"
she chuckles and i sit down.

after school, Max introduces me to her friends, Dustin, the boy with the curly hair and hat. Lucas, the more 'mature' one, Max's significant other. Will, the mushroom head, more 'shy'. and, Mike, bowl cut, freckles, (kinda looks like a frog, not in a bad way) and pretty cute i'd say.
the boys immediately began to talk to me, except Mike, he was quiet.

DAY TWO
STILL YOUR POV
i went into science with Max and waved at the boys, who already sat down.
i sat in the back, so i walked there.

a few minutes into the lesson, Mike got up and sharpened his pencil, which was next to me.
he smiled, i returned it, he walked back. nothing special.
until, less than ten minutes later, he came back, sharpened his pencil and smiled at me.
i smiled back, obviously. but was a little suspicious.
then, five minutes later, there he was again, sharpening his pencil.
he smiled, i slowly nodded my head.
now, LESS than FIVE minutes later. he. sharpened. his. pencil. AGAIN.
he smiled, this time i spoke up, "i think your pencil is sharp enough, Mike" i giggle.
he smiles wide and his cheeks turn a light pink, he tries to cover it up. so cute.
"i know. i just wanted an excuse to come and see you again"
